Long live the struggle of the Palestinian prisoners for their freedom!
Down with the Zionist jailer, occupant of the Palestinian land!
From the International Network we participated today in Puerta del Sol in an rally with the Palestinian community and different organizations on the 69th anniversary of the Nakba and while more than 1500 Palestinian prisoners in Zionist prisons have been carrying out a hunger strike for 28 days.
The event began with Mahmoud Fares, a Syrian singer, singing the Palestinian anthem with the young Heba Taleb ZAHRA and all those present at the rally. Then Victoria Caro Bernal, president of the NGO Earth and Cultures, made an introduction recounting what was the NAKBA of 1948. You could hear all the people shouting "Long Live the Palestinian People's Struggle" and "Freedom to Palestinian Prisoners." From the International Network, comrade Paula Medrano intervened, holding in her hands the photo of Leila, mother of Samer, Medhat, Shireen and Shadi Issawi, heroic Palestinian fighters imprisoned in the dungeons of Zionism. The comrade said that along with Las Heras workers (Argentina, sentenced to life imprisonment for fighting) they had made an oath to Leila Issawi that they would be ambassadors for the cause of the Palestinian people wherever they are and that is why they were there.
Then Sandra Barrilaro Muñoz, member of " Mujeres Rumbo to Gaza" (Women heading to Gaza), spoke about the development of the hunger strike of the Palestinian prisoners. Moses Mato López, an activist for non-violence, also spoke in solidarity with the Palestinian people's struggle, as did Angel Alvarez Hernández, a lawyer specialized in Human Rights.
Then the Palestinian Hispanic activist Jaldía Abubakra, a member of the international association Mujeres Rumbo to Gaza, also said a few words in solidarity with the struggle of the heroic Palestinian people, as did Ramón Pedregal Casanova, author of "PALESTINA, Chronicles of Life and Resistance". At the end of the act Palestinian songs were sung and a group of Palestinians danced the Dabke. This act of solidarity with the Palestinian people must be transformed into a union and coordination of all forces to liberate the more than 7,000 prisoners who continue in the dungeons of the Zionist Fascist state of Israel. All of them are subjected to the worst types of cruelty and torture in jail.
The struggle for the freedom of the Palestinian people and for the freedom of all political prisoners in the world is a task for all the workers and exploited people of the world. It is the same struggle to stop the massacre against the peoples who rise up against hunger, injustice and plunder as in Syria, Yemen, Palestine and the whole Maghreb and Middle East.
Joining our forces and coordinating our actions will be a thousand times stronger to free our fighters and revenge on our oppressors. Immediate release to Shireen, Medhat and Samer Issawi! Free Mohamed Al Qeed and over 7000 Palestinian prisoners and all political prisoners in the world! For the destruction of the fascist Zionist state of Israel! For a secular, democratic and non-racist Palestinian from the Jordan River to the Sea!
