In Argentina in the hands of Macri, his Cabinet of transnational corporations’ C.E.Os., and the Governors pertaining to FpV (Kirchnerite), JP (Peronist) and the rest of bourgeois parties, all the capitalists are together in
A fierce war against the workers and the people |

A polemic on the struggle against the rates hikes…
On FIT and its bills in the capitalists’ parliament
see full polemic |
Devaluation and inflation, suspensions, layoffs, hunger wages, repression of those who struggle...
And now a brutal 400% rise in service prices...
A necessary up-dating of economy variables? The energy crisis? The only truth is that, both with the Kichnerites yesterday or today with the PRO, the transnational corporations, the IMF and Wall Street go on looting the nation.
DOWN WITH THE MONSTRUOUS RISE IN THE PRICES OF THE BASIC SERVICES!
Out with Chevron and transnational corporations!
Which plunder the natural resources of the nation and the pockets of the people!
43% wage rise for everybody!
as demanded by striking sugar mill workers in Ingenio (Sugar mill)Ledesma!
$25,000 minimum, living and mobile wage with an inflation-triggered clause! Down with VAT and the wage tax and! Decent work for everybody! Reinstatement of all those laid-off! A shift more in the factories so all the hands available come to work!
Let’s reject the hunger wage contracts negotiated by the trade union bureaucracy!
For a single national collective bargain!
So that neither electricity nor gas is denied to any working-class family...
Out with Pan-American Energy, Chevron, Total and all oil companies who loot the country! Renationalization without compensation and under workers control of all energy and services companies! For a single State Power Company! For a true renationalization of YPF, without compensation and under the control of the workers!
Down with the truce signed by the Union bureaucracy to the executioners of the people!
In the major urban centers of the country pans have already began to be clonked against the tarifazo (monstrous increase of the prices of basic services); Ingenio(Sugar mill) Ledesma workers and the refineries in the North of the country are fighting for wage rises and decent working conditions; there the struggle of workers in Tierra del Fuego and Patagonia Rebelde (rebel Patagonia) is taken up... Enough of fighting divided!
The fight against the services’ price rises, for decent wages and jobs is a single one and is won on the streets, not in the offices of the employer justice or in the Parliament of the exploiters.
We must regroup the ranks of workers in a National Labor Congress, to prepare...
A nationwide plan of struggle and general strike right now!
Let’s revive 2001... "pickets and pans, the fight is a single one"
All of them must go away, not even a single one should remain!
The attack by the Government of Macri and his Cabinet of C.E.Os of transnational corporations, carried forward by all bosses’ parties from governorates and municipalities, and the Parliament of the exploiters, goes unabated. With the complicity of the trade union bureaucracy, they are protagonists of a vast conspiracy to plunder the pockets of workers and the people, for the benefit of the designs of the IMF and the looting of the resources of the nation by transnational corporations. Hunger, skyrocketing prices, miserable wages, hellish living conditions that millions of exploited are subjected to... NOBODY CAN ENDURE THEM ANY MORE.
In 12 months they stole from us more than 70% of our purchasing power: Last year, with the Decree of the wage capping of Kirchner-Kicillof-Calo (the government and the head of the main central union); this year with the devaluation, the hunger collective bargaining signed by the bureaucracy, then with layoffs and now with the massive rise of 400% in services. Bourgeois politicians of "opposition" parties "cackle" demagogically against the price rises, but it was the Governors and mayors of the Frente para la Victoria (Front for Victory, Kirchnerites) , PJ (Justicialist Peronists), PS(Social Democrats) and the Frente Renovador (Renewal Front, Massa’s Party, NT) were the first ones to impose massive dismissals and the "Macri plan" in their governorates and municipalities.
All the Union bureaucracy of the three GCST and the two CTA (the five Argentina’s Central Unions)are the guarantors of this attack. First, they let pass the massive layoffs. Then threatened with merging the Central Unions and calling a general strike and ended up calling an act of April 29 to put the demands of the labor movement at the foot of the employers’politicians and their bills. So they fenced off the struggle of workers in Tierra del Fuego, and sector-by-sector signed the hunger collective bargainings. Down with the truce the trade union bureaucracy signed with the executioners of the people!
Today the Government of Macri justifies the increase of the services’ rates with the lie of clearing the economy and the price of fares. He only clear truth is that the transnational that own the energy and basic services companies have stolen, during all these years, all the money from the "subsidies" and looted all the resources of the nation without investing a dollar in infrastructure. And now they want the people to pay, with new tarifazos, for what they have stolen.
Don´t lie any more. There is excess gas and natural resources in Argentina, as it also is plenty of money to invest in infrastructure and solve all the country's energy problems for all the exploited to have access to all basic services. There is more than sufficient money to ensure a true plan of public works under control of trade unions to generate millions of jobs (under collective contracts and worthy wages); to renovate all public schools and hospitals falling apart, to pave streets, to build sewers and improve all the infrastructure of the country. But the problem is that yesterday the Kirchners and Bolivarians, handed out the country to the IMF and the transnational corporations -as today Macri does. It was the Government Kirchner which compensated the thieves of Repsol with 6,500 million dollars and handed out Vaca Muerta (oil and shale field) to Chevron (an agreement that Macri keeps today with this US oil company.) Stop it! It's them or us! Either the working class makes a breakthrough by expropriating the capitalists or the way that Macri and corrupt politicians will impose to the masses, that is, the barbarism prevailing in Maduro’s Venezuela!
And when it comes to unite the fight against the rate rises with the fight against the hunger wage contracts of the rotten bureaucracy and for wage increases, as demanded by the workers of the Ingenio (Sugar mill) Ledesma, FIT is only limited to demand "public audits for services enterprises", "national mobilizations" and to "require from the bureaucracy a plan of action and a national strike". Yesterday the FIT turned his back to Tierra del Fuego workers refusing to coordinate and unite the forces of all sectors in struggle who resisted layoffs across the country, along with the fight in the national universities, secondary students who fought for a free ticket, and all the bodies of delegates and internal committees which they head or influence.
The division of worker ranks won, thousands of layoffs, victory escaped from the hands of the Tierra del Fuego workers and the field has been cleared for Macri and his cabinet of C.E.Os have free hands and feel strong for the tremendous increase in service rates. The road chosen by the FIT was not fighting in the streets with the methods of the working class, but discussing in the Congress halls and offices of employer politicians whom they sought consensus to present a "Anti-layoffs bill" which Macri had already announced in advance that he would veto.
Before this scenario, it is more than clear that the only ones that can confront and defeat the attack of the Government and the plunder of the transnationals are them workers at the head of the whole of exploited sectors of the nation, trusting in their own forces and setting up their own organizations for fighting. This is the road that the manufacturing workers of Bolivia are marking who face the attack of the transnationals and the Government of Evo Morales; they are imposing the unity of the fighters and confronting the Union bureaucracy of the COB (Bolivian Workers Central Union). This is the path we must follow, all of us, workers from across the Americas!
400% increase in services’ rates? 400% wage increase, then!
Pans have begun to sound in the streets and workers of the Ingenio (Sugar mill) Ledesma in Jujuy are fighting for a 43% salary increase for all. We must join this fight against the rise of the price of basic services and for a wage rise, returning to the cry of 2001 of "picket and pan, the fight is a single one" that unified the fight of employed and unemployed workers blocking the roads with ruined middle classes that were victims of the looting of the bankers and transnational corporations. It was this struggle, the fight for "Que se vayan todos, que no quede ni uno solo” (“All of them must go away, not even a single one should remain!”), the popular assemblies, the takeover of factories that closed or fired, and the combat against banks and transnational corporations (the same ones that today have ordered the tarifazos [monstrous rate rises]), which conquered the freezing of rates for services.
We need to organize a nationwide fight against the oil companies, the IMF, the vulture hedge funds, the transnational corporations, the banks and the corrupt politicians that have handed out our nation to the plundering imperialist pirates. This is the fight to conquer a decent wage for us, housing for our families, health and education for our children. The trade union bureaucracy defends the employer pockets and supports the Government, while the FIT is living its parliamentary idyll refusing to organize a great struggle. Enough is enough! We must defeat the attack the Government and transnational corporations are waging on us. The fight is on the streets and is one of class against class.
He only "Congress" that workers need is a Worker Congress of both employed and unemployed workers with delegates of the rank and file of the entire labor movement to discuss, legislate and run a plan of fight with a General strike that stop the hand to the Government and to all the bourgeois politicians.
Acquittal of the oil workers of Las Heras!
Discharge the more than 7000 workers and popular fighters
who have been prosecuted for fighting! |
