The metalworkers of the GM in the city of Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico, together with the workers of the Mexican maquiladoras, have launched a call to fight globally against the attack of flexibilization, hunger, misery and in defense of workers' lives against the Coronavirus pandemic. THAT'S THE WAY!
From the CSP-Conlutas of Brazil, from the workers of GM and all the metallurgical plants of diverse companies in San José dos Campos (Saõ Paulo) grouped in Conlutas, and from all the fighting organizations in the country we must take this call in our hands. For this, all the metallurgical lesders of the CSP-Conlutas must break the agreements allowing dismissals, furloughs, flexibility and leaving thousands of workers at the mercy of the contagion of Coronavirus. Enough already! All the flexibilization agreements signed in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and throughout the Americas must be rejected. We must fight alongside the metalworkers in Mexico against the GM that fires us and super-exploits us as in the entire Americas! In Mexico they fight against the same transnational that persecuted and imprisoned Sebastián Romero! It is the GM that the workers inside the United States fought against at the beginning of the year!
The International Trade Union Network must take in its hands the call of the Mexican metalworkers. NO MORE TIME TO WASTE! The metalworkers of the GM of Mexico are standing up and calling for an international fight, along with them are the workers of the United States at the GM headquarters in Detroit, demonstrating that they have stood at the heart of imperialism . The workers of the Arcelor Mittal of Mexico have recently joined the fight against precariousness and also due to the terrible spread of COVID-19, which has already killed three workers at the plant and infected dozens. The teachers union of the CNTE Regional Lázaro Cárdenas un Mexico, has joined this call to coordinate and extend this fight.
From Brazil and the more than 3 million workers organized by the CSP-Conlutas; from the Spanish CGT and the Nissan metalworkers in struggle; from France with Solidaires and the metalworkers of Arcelor Mittal; together with the metalworkers of the German IG Mettal that groups the Trade Union Network; from the United States with the metallurgical organizations and WAV that join the Network; without further delay, its more than 80 centrals, unions and oppositions that organize and influence the world must be brought to take it into their own hands.
THERE IS NOTHING TO PREVENT IT! ALL FLEXIBILIZATION AGREEMENTS MUST BE BROKEN! LET'S TAKE IN OUR HANDS AND FIGHT TOGETHER ALONGSIDE THE GM WORKERS AND ALL THE METALWORKERS OF MEXICO AND THE WORLD!
