Three days of demonstrations and direct actions against the repressive and anti-worker government of Arcioni-Sastre shook the province.
The rage of the exploited was felt on the Government House and the Court of Justice, which were turned to ashes.
We responded with barricades to the brutal crackdown of the Infantry and GEOP, with dozens of prisoners and wounded. The streets will not be abandoned!
Assemblies in the squares are generalized in every city such as Trelew, Rawson and Madryn, as well as in the Andean region and in Comodoro.
Our comrades from the fishing industry, which started a strike and took to the streets, marched yesterday in Rawson. Filleters, stevedores and sailors joined the struggle against mega-mining and their inhumane labour conditions. Teachers, state workers, port workers and unemployed workers have gathered in a huge struggle. The Chubutazo stands up again!
In 2019, the fight we were waging in the province against plundering and the Arcioni government was diverted by the collaborationist leaderships and they sustained the pact of Fernández and Arcioni-Sastre with the union bureaucracy of oil, truckers and construction workers that attacked with sticks and live ammo our picket lines, like the one on Route 3 and Route 26.
The IMF launched a brutal offensive to deepen the looting of the nation and impose a brutal labour flexibility.
This is the reason fir which they have the union bureaucracy such as Ávila (oil workers), Taboada (truck drivers) and Silva (construction), which, saying that with mega-mining would open the possibility of providing jobs, they have defended the interests of all the monopolies settled in the province.
The bosses' parties in that cave of bandits that is the Legislature negotiated with the Panamerican Silver mining lobby to loot the gold from Gastre and Telsen that will leave the province without drinking water in the blink of an eye.
The looting of water adds to the unprecedented sufferings that are experienced in the province, the thousands of unemployed, the wages of misery and the destruction of health and education.

"This situation is unbearable"
The hatred against the government and all the bosses' parties is undeniable. Nobody here thinks that any demand, including the defence of water, can be achieved without defeating Arcioni’s government. As in 2001, the war-cry of Everybody out!returns in Chubut!
In Rawson, Trelew and Madryn... The working-class and popular unity is forged again! That is the path that we must continue throughout the province.
To get decent jobs, wages, health and education, the oil companies, the fishing companies, Aluar and the Benettons must be expropriated, without compensation and placed under workers' control. For a public works plan and sliding scale of wages and hours of work in all oil companies and industries in the province! No to the payment of the fraudulent foreign debt!

The way to fight like throughout the country is like in Chubut!
Every worker organisation of the employed and unemployed and the militant unionism have to join our struggle. After the huge demonstration against the IMF on December 11th, the anti-imperialist fight stands up in Chubut, looted and bankrupted by the monopolies.

Against the looting and the imperialist offensive and the IMF offensive, EVERYONE TO THE CHUBUTAZO. Provisional worker and popular government based on workers organisationsand organisationsin struggle to make Chubut the stronghold of the fight against imperialism, the government and the bosses' parties. Down with the damn social pact! Let the union bureaucracy go with the UIA!
We must return to the path of 2001, picket lines and general strike.
