One more step in the bankruptcy of the parliamentarian Left
The FIT-U votes in favor of the Personal Property Tax reform
A new show of political support for the Peronist government
Reformism acts like this: it supports the measures that they call "progressive" by the bosses and their politicians (they "whine" and "complain" but vote for them) and criticizes (and doesn’t support) the negative ones.
This is called making a political and programmatic front with the bourgeoisie. In other words, the FIT-U, like the old Stalinism, tells the workers that there are "progressive" bourgeois who can take measures in favor of the workers. It is a flagrant splitfrom every kind ofclass independencepolicy.
In the case of the Personal Property Tax reform that they just voted, it is a political fraud.
In its electoral campaign, the FIT-U proposed "progressive taxes on big fortunes", "impound the thieves of the people", "liquidate the VAT", "cancel the tax on workers' wages"... and ends up voting in Parliament that "a few who have more than 18 million pesos abroad contribute 2.5% more ”.
This is another political fraud against the working class that voted for the FIT-U but at every step they get a “Front of All”(the bourgeois ruling coalition, TN), but critical.
This vote of FIT-U in the House of Representatives in a face-wash for Cristina Kirchner who suggested the IMF to help her search for those who took 450 billion U$D out of the country, whereasshe alone took 500 million of the oil royalties from Santa Cruz!... Now Bregman and her people join the club of "seekers of fortune of the big bourgeois abroad." Liars! That money is in the secret and lawless accounts of HSBC, Citibank, Morgan Bank, etc. Those funds will only be recovered and placed in official accounts by expropriating the imperialist banks. And that can be done by the revolution.
As Trotsky used to say, "a Marxist who hands over the tip of the nail of his little finger to the bourgeoisie sells his soul to the devil"... Reformism has lived with the bourgeoisie for a long time.
They do it without any need, just to flatter the bourgeois they call "progressive."
Meanwhile, the workers in Chubut show us another way: they burnt and destroyed all the hated institutions of domination of all the bourgeois gangs to get“Everybody out” (this slogan causes kidney failure for the FIT-U). Only this way they were able to get their demands against the mining companies.
Can you imagine Bregman voting against that pirate reform on Personal Property Tax and calling to get "Everybody out" and to fight throughout the country as in the Chubutazo until imposing a progressive tax on the bourgeoisie and the oligarchy that sells meat and food at the most expensive price in the world?
Not at all. The FIT-U has an obsession: to search thoroughly the "good" bourgeois and their "progressive" measures.
How can the FIT-U vote for this reform together with the heads of the tax evaders, i.e. the bourgeois from the “Front of All”, including the UIA (Argentine Industry Owners Chamber), the biggest smugglers in the nation? They run away with over andunder billingsby over U$D 6 billion every year!
They are unworthy of calling themselves "socialists." They are scared like kittens on the lap of the bourgeoisie. And they had the nerve to pay tribute to those who died in December 2001 in that cave of murderers of workers of the Parliament and the bourgeois parties, without saying that it was they, the PJ and the UCR, who executed them.
Whoever wants to eat up this infamy should do so, but the wretched and traitors should be called as such.
The boss who dresses as "good" is the worst of all because he is the one who can best deceive the workers.
It is time for the Trotskyist rank and file of those parties to put a bit of revolutionary order in its block of MP’s. They have already voted hundreds of laws with the bourgeoisie in the Parliament. Imagine for a moment the Bolshevik Party voting with the Kadet party for "progressive" laws in the Duma!
The FIT-U discusses and supports laws to help better manage the bourgeois state… If this is not being a nurse of capitalism, what is it? These people are graduates in that and with diploma. |
