Our adhesion to and our program for the 12/11 march against the IMF
To the organizers of the 12/11 march against the IMF:
From the LOI-CI / Workers' Democracy we will participate actively and we are already inviting to the march against the IMF to be held on next Saturday Dec 11, called by dozens of labor organizations and left-wing parties.
Of course, we call you to integrate us to the march by adding our signature to this call that we attach here:
On our part, we appeal to all the currents calling for this march to repudiate the reactionary rally that the Peronist government and its allies, the traitors of the trade union bureaucracy, have called for December 10 in Plaza de Mayo, in favor of the IMF, with the entire Argentine bourgeoisie and its parties which have already had an infamous pact among themselves for decades, as junior partners in the exploitation of the working class and the looting of the nation.
Those on top, with the weapons of the military dictatorship and later, with the bosses' politicians, imposed a fraudulent foreign debt and guaranteed with iron and fire the brutal exploitation of the working class, which has been repaying it with a high cost of living, unemployment, job flexibility and job insecurity, lack of housing, hunger and misery.
The Peronist government, now supported by the Macri's Parliament, has already had a pact with the IMF, to which they have repaid the foreign debt in the last 2 years, as well as to the private creditors who have already withdrawn dozens of millions of dollars.
To fight against the IMF and break with imperialism, it is necessary to defeat the anti-worker government and the traitors of the union bureaucracy that support it, as well as the bosses' politicians.
Only the working class by liberating itself will be able to liberate the nation from imperialist plunder. The only possible way to do it will be with a triumphant Argentinazo that does not leave any traces of the Argentine semi-colonial bourgeois state, and in a decisive combat together with the workers and peasants who, as in Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia and Guatemala, are facing imperialism. and their regimes. While the union bureaucracies keep subjecting the working class to its executioners, the masses of Latin America, together with the American working class, contrariwise, have not surrendered.
In our point of view, the march of Dec 11 should be a first step to convene a National Congress of combative workers organizations, the piquetero movement and the self-organized workers, to organize and help rise up the working class against the bosses and their politicians, and pave the way for the General Strike.
In that Plaza of Dec 11, the flags of the struggle for the freedom of the political prisoners, who are truly kept hostage by the capitalists, their government and the imperialist offensive against the nation, cannot be absent. For the release right now of Sebastián Romero, for the immediate acquittal of Arakaki, Ruiz, the oil workers of Las Heras and other persecuted workers! Enough of repressing and persecuting those who fight! For Workers' and Popular Self-defense Committees!
Argentina will be socialist or its fate will be a Wall Street colony!
We then reiterate out request for your including our signature: LOI-CI / Democracia Obrera in the call for Dec 11, to which we call on the working class to participate actively with their fighting organizations.
