Fascist attack on the militants of the Partido Obrero in Buenos Aires (Federal Capital)...
An injury to one is an injury to all!
Fascism is not to be discuss with, it is to be crushed!
From Democracia Obrera we express our strongest condemnation to the cowardly fascist attack suffered by the militants of the Partido Obrero on the night of Tuesday, November 3. A gang attacked comrades who were painting a wall in commemoration of Mariano Ferreyra. Of course, the Partido Obrero comrades have all our solidarity and support. But this is not an isolated event. In July this year, Patricia González, leader of the Polo Obrero - Partido Obrero in San Nicolás, was threatened by fascists. The Fernandez government, supported by all the capitalist gangs, represses and attacks the working class, on behalf of the IMF. And it does so by concentrating all the forces of the State, its judges and its police. They know that imposing the Argentina maquila will not be peaceful. There have been more than 100 young workers like Facundo Astudillo, killed by repressive forces amidst the pandemic. La Bonaerense (Buenos Aires Province police, NT) mutinied and was fully provided (of weapons, ammo, caskets, helms and patrol cars, and a pay increase) by (Bs. As. Governor Axel) Kicillof to repress the workers, as we have just seen in the (multi) eviction in Guernica.
The gunfighter union bureaucracy organizes gangs of thugs to selectively attack the workers in struggle, in the footsteps of Lorenzo Miguel (a Peronist cadre, former metal union bureaucrat, head of the CGT in the 1960-70s, NT) and the gangs of the CGT bureaucracy in Triple A (a state created parapolice gang that killed worker delegates and leftists in 1973-1976 in Argentina).
It is clear that if today the anti -labor and fascists are emboldened to threaten, provoke and attack the workers' organizations, it is because the PJ government does the dirty work of beating the working class while the union bureaucracy submits and betrays it.
Yesterday it was Patricia. Today they are the comrades from Capital Federal. But this is an attack on the entire working class. On Saturday 7 at 3:00 p.m., the PO calls an event in the Cid Campeador (well known statue in a crossroads of two main avenues in the geographic center of Buenos Aires City, NT). We must surround them with solidarity and support! All the workers' organizations must be present to defend the comrades! Fascists must be punished!
Workers' and popular self-defense committees in all factories and establishments to defend all comrades!
Let's set up a united front of workers' organizations to defend ourselves and to defend all workers, their fighting organizations, their unions and the workers' parties!
