In Acindar and in the whole steel industry, between what the employer “offers” and what Caló "demands", there are only miserable wages for the workers

Out with Calo!
In recent weeks, the Caló’s UOM signed a "pre-agreement" with the Employers' Chamber of Steel Industry, where he accepted "accepted" 25% basic wage increase and a 23% final increase in take-home salary. After that in the sectionals as Acindar, the leaders of the White list wanted to make a "referendum" to "vote yes or no" to this "pre-agreement". The leaders of the White list called this "referendum" but for months they have been preventing a general assembly of the whole plant. Let's say the truth: They wanted to do this referendum, not to make an assembly, where workers can discuss and decide all together what percentage we need and the best way to achieve it.
They wanted to make a totally undemocratic referendum, where we were "forced" to choose for "yes or no".
The internal commission (shop stewards’ commission, TN) of the Black Green list called to "vote no"; and to demand only 25% salary increase. They said that "they were not going to ask for more than that percentage". That is what they said in a sector meeting, a few days ago. Thus the Black Green list endorsed this referendum, refusing in all this time to call a general assembly of the whole factory. In the last meeting of shop stewards, due to the insistence of different delegates to do a general assembly, the internal commission stated that "it has to be prepared”; and that they "did not know if all sectors agreed". But they had to "retracted" when different delegates told them that in most sectors the rank and file workers wanted unity, and they ended up acknowledging that it was true. Anyway they refused to call it. They ended up being a "tail van" of the directive.
And the leaders of the white list want to take us to a dead end. They want us to choose between the fire and the coals. Because with the miserable percentage they offered us, we are only going to have wages of misery for our families. Who can survive with such a low salary, with more than 49% inflation since last year? This proves that the White list is Caló, because it openly accepts Caló's fake and his miserable percentages!
But the workers of the factory are expressing all their anger against this situation. Before this "new circus" of the referendum, many workers from different sectors, after noticing the presence of the directive board of the union at the entrance of the plant, began to scold and cornered them. As they were coming down from the busses, they swirling around telling them “stop fucking around with the referendum!” Others saw what was happening and they came immediately. We cannot stand this situation anymore! What is at stake is our already miserable wage, together with the dignity and food of metalworkers’ family!
When they saw the directive in "trouble", also came hasty two members of the Internal Commission to calm things down and to chill workers out.
The Black Green list calling to participate in the referendum and not calling a general assembly ends up subordinated to Caló and his collective bargains of hunger and the White list.
Workers voted this Internal Commission to change their working conditions in some way! They voted them because they want unity once and for all! Enough is enough!
Miguenz and the Black Green list must listen once and for all to the rank and file metalworkers who has been asking the unity, and who are against Caló's miserable bargaining. They must break their subordination to the directive of the White list and call a general assembly of effective and outsourced workers, where the will and the decision of the metallurgists can be imposed!
LET US DECIDE ABOUT OUR FUTURE! THERE IS NO TIME TO LOSE!
GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF EFFECTIVE AND OUTSOURCED WORKERS!
In Siderar, workers express the same outrage against this collective bargains of hunger; it is the same in every workshop and establishment. Let’s unify all metalworkers! Metallurgical General Assembly of Villa Constitución and San Nicolás with rank and file delegates with mandate!
