Zuma’s government imprisons over 140 students and workers for fighting

Today, over 140 students and workers were arrested inside the University of Johannesburg by police. It was sent by Zuma’s government and university authorities. Their “felony”? Fight for free public education and fight side by side with the university workers to end with outsourced jobs.

Now hundreds of students and workers are gathering in front of the police station of Brixton demanding the freedom of all comrades.
Zuma’s government wants to scare the heroic student militant movement and the workers who all over South Africa start to stand up for their demands and who imposed to exploited stepping back in the increase of university fees. Together with the bosses’ justice, which is servant of Anglo American –of those same judges who guarantee the impunity of the killers of Marikana miners-, imposed a restraining order preventing students from entering Johannesburg University facilities. Now they imprisoned hundreds of them, while they prepare to take several students to court, by accusing them of “treason”.

Enough repressing, imprisoning and prosecuting those who fight! Freedom to all the imprisoned students and workers! Down with the fake charges against workers and students! Slaves’ rebellion is not a felony, it is justice!

In order to conquer our demands: National Struggle Committee of workers and students to organize and prepare the General Strike against Zuma’s government and this regime that continues Apartheid’s!

Free public education paid with the expropriation without compensation and under workers’ control of all miners TNC’s and bankers!

Self-defence committees of all workers and militant students’ organizations to defend ourselves of the murderous police’s repression!
