After a year and a half of war, massacre and destruction in occupied and partitioned Ukraine……

THE WORKING CLASS OF MARIUPOL, INVADED BY THE MURDERER PUTIN, STANDS UP AND CALLS FOR A GENERAL STRIKE.

From different factories and establishments, the workers of Putin-occupied Mariupol are calling for an indefinite strike starting from September 10, calling on all workers to join them with their demands.

This strike is called on the day of the elections called by the occupying troops, which the workers are calling to boycott.

The working class of the whole nation must respond to this call and stop on the same day, thus unifying their demands. From the areas crushed under the boot of Putin and his invading army, which destroys, plunders, massacres and forces the workers to work without wages. And from the other regions of Ukraine, subjected to the sufferings of war and also to the brutal attack that the Zelensky government is unleashing against them. Because the working class, if they unite their forces and fight together, are more powerful than the occupation forces.

As Trotsky said, the most powerful armies become impotent when the workers stop production, because you cannot put a soldier beside every worker to make them work.

This September 10, a key battle of the war is going to be fought! This battle will  be won if it spreads from the Donbass to Kiev, because what the Ukrainian working class needs to defeat the invader and to have work, wages, housing and even its nation, is to set up a proletarian leadership of the war. It is already clear that under Zelensky and the leadership of the lackeys of imperialism in Kiev, the invader cannot be defeated. The Ukrainian working class must impose control of production and take back the wage robbery under Putin's boot in the occupied regions, and with the onerous labor agreements imposed by the Ukrainian bourgeoisie in the rearguard.

The workers produce for the war in conditions of slavery, and they are the ones who die in it defending their nation... THE WORKING CLASS MUST TAKE THE LEADERSHIP OF THE WAR INTO ITS HANDS, to disown the IMF and the plunder of their nation, to expropriate the transnationals and the big land and business holdings of the Ukrainian bourgeoisie and to put the whole economy at the service of winning the war against Putin's tyranny!

This would be a battering ram in the struggle against Putin inside Russia itself, where the workers are also plunged into poverty and not paid their wages for months on end. And if they dare to speak out against their living conditions and Putin's war of invasion in Ukraine; they are persecuted, tortured and sentenced to years of imprisonment.

Meanwhile the traitorous leaderships, who speak in the name of the working class, continue to try and deceive the masses. Will Putin's friends perhaps say that the strike in Mariupol paralyzes the struggle "against fascism"? And would the NATO allies call from Kiev for a general strike in defense of all the workers' gains taken away and fight to take military control of the national defense themselves?

Stalinism, supporting Putin, is pointing the guns in Ukraine at the Mariupol workers' temples... The European trade unions look the other way, hanging on the NATO governments' skirts...

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
One class, one struggle across borders!

General strike all over Ukraine, so that Putin goles out, and the Ukrainian working class, uniting their ranks, take the leadership of the national war! European Committee in support of the workers' struggle in Mariupol!

Lately the Russian occupier is simply throwing our workers out of Mariupol without paying them their wages!

We decided to fight for our right to be paid!

We announce an indefinite strike from 10 September (election day)!

Agitate your colleagues not to go to work if you work in these companies!

A strike is a strong and powerful tool that helps to draw attention to inequalities and negative phenomena in society. It is a manifestation of solidarity, will and desire to change the status quo for the better.

When people unite to defend their rights under occupation, a political strike against the occupier becomes a necessity. It gives us the opportunity to express our disagreement with the conditions that unjustly limit our freedom and self-determination. The strike is the voice of those who have to live under the dictates of the occupier, to be deprived of human rights and national independence.

Do not allow yourself to be a powerless witness of the occupation and rights violations. Join the political strike against the occupier and show that you are ready to fight for your rights and the rights of your people. Together we are stronger, together we will change the world for the better!
