SOLIDARITY AND SUPPORT FOR COMRADE FERNANDO PERSECUTED AND ATTACKED BY TECHINT BOSSES
The justice System of the slave-owner Rocca has not only ruled against the metallurgical worker and delegate of Siderar (ex SOMISA) Fernando Legarreta, in the trial for his reinstatement, but now also, in an unprecedented ruling, has issued a garnishment on his salary saying that he is obliged to pay the high fees of the employer's lawyers.
This is the first case of a lawsuit for reinstatement of a worker who is fired due to employer persecution, in which the justice of the capitalists imposes such a ruling.
The comrade was persecuted and fired in 2016 while he was setting up an alternative current to the union bureaucracy and in defense of workers' democracy, so that the rank and file could express themselves and decide in assemblies, for the delegates would abide by the mandates of the rank and file and be rotating, etc., which was the best way to fight for wages, working conditions and all the demands of the metalworkers.
Now, at a time when the metalworkers are carrying out a hard struggle for their wages, trashed by inflation, the delinquent Rocca, who has just pocketed 192 billion pesos in profits, who has also leaked abroad millions of dollars, who has been exempted from taxes by the anti-worker government of Milei, and with his CEOs located in strategic positions un the government and State companies is grabbing very profitable businesses…, with an unlimited viciousness, has had Fernando's meager salary seized. Fernando is today working as a teacher and supporting his little daughters. With this ruling they are trying to punish the workers who have been in struggle for weeks. We cannot allow it!
We repudiate this bosses' justice at the service of the big plunderers of the nation. In defense of the delegates and all workers persecuted and fired by the exploiters, the conscious workers and their organizations will not allow the workers and their children to be left without their livelihood because of the robbery of these millionaire thieves who with all their hatred want to make our class surrender.
