The parliamentary left, in the footsteps of old Stalinism, in search of the “progressive” bourgeois and the “lesser evil”…

Either overtly or covertly...
The FIT-U in Massa’s field with a policy
of class collaboration el FIT-U

While the US embassy decides whom of its three men of close confidence (Macri-Milei or Massa with his block of anti worker figures: Menemists, UCR's men, Rodríguez Larreta and company) will manage its businesses... the FIT-U parties play hide and seek so as not to call to vote against Milei and Massa.

What is even worse, they refuse to call for re grouping the workers' ranks to resist the ongoing fierce attack on the wages and conquests of the workers, which will be deepened a thousand fold as soon as the last vote of the run-off election is counted, whatever the winner.

THE FIT-U ON THE “ANTI-MILEI” FRONT

To implement the plan of the IMF and the capitalists, Massa will have to attack the workers as much as or worse than Milei.

In 2015, in the run-off between Macri and Scioli, all the parties that today make up the FIT-U called to vote blank, denouncing both employers' candidates.

Now, when a formula is Milei “goes to the government” and Macri “to power”, these parties propose voting for the “lesser evil”. A total abandonment of Trotskyism. They have already embraced the legacy of Stalinism.

The PTS “does not vote for Milei”, does not give “any political support to Massa”…So who do they call to vote for? None or null? They call to vote for Massa without it being noticed

The PTS states “we do not support or vote for Milei, but we do not give political or electoral support to Massa”. So why don't they call openly for not voting Massa either and voting none? What does “not give political or electoral support” mean? There are elections, where it is not defined who is supported, but rather who is voted for and who is not.

The PTS is very careful not to anger its Kirchnerist friends. They will not campaign for not voting for Massa. That is, there is no alternative to voting. Neither boycott, nor null vote, nor none... they are in the air, in the internet cloud, of "likes" and "retweets."

The revolutionary strategy is exactly the opposite of what the PTS and its FIT-U partners propose: the more the bourgeoisie deceives trying to dress up as a “friend of the people,” the more we must unmask it. Therefore, while we confront Milei, more and more we call not to vote for Massa and to confront him.
Milei is a very clear enemy. Massa, on the other hand, is the worst of enemies, because he deceives the working class pretending that he is different from Milei and will be good and compassionate to the masses, just when he comes with a club under his arm. Or does anyone believe that the IMF plan, with its high fees and attacks on conquests, is imposed by means of “good manners”?

The PTS plays hide and seek with the bonapartist farce of the run-off. By not proposing “Down with the run-off! Neither Milei nor Massa, they are both from the IMF!”, by not saying neither none vote nor null vote, it is ultimately proposing “vote Massa”, but without dirtying their hands.
The problem is that their hands are already dirty. They voted for Massa on 24 of the 26 bills that he sent to Congress. They have already told the masses that with Massa they can achieve progressive laws. So why wouldn't they vote for him against Milei? If the PTS has already given him political support by voting for his laws.
The position of the PTS is to call to vote for Massa without it being noticed.

Izquierda Socialista Left and the NMAS do not mince words.
They don't even take care of their words to call for voting to Massa

They say that “the lesser evil is Massa.” They say they accompany the workers' experience with Massa... Rascals.
Due to betrayal by their leadership, the masses are going to the hell of another of the agents of the IMF and the very high big slavery bourgeoisie and the transnationals. Izquierda Socialista shows them the way and accompanies them, just as they did in Peru with Castillo or in Chile with Boric.

Nothing new from the NMAS or Izquierda Socialista... they are founding back Victorio Codovilla's Communist Party, looking for the "democratic" bourgeois against fascism, as if fascism, which is an excrescence of capitalism, could be confronted with bourgeois scoundrels who come out of the same sewer of this rotten colonial capitalist system.
Fascism is confronted with workers' militia and the methods of the working class, not with the bourgeoisie that poses as "democratic", which will be the first to call for fascism when the masses, to be able to eat, attack their property.
We Trotskyists defend democratic rights with the method of proletarian revolution, not by voting for its executioners, since from Massa's ranks police officers will come out as murderous as those who would guard a Milei government. Because they have to defeat the working class so that semi-colonial Argentinean capitalism lives and the nation continues to be plundered by imperialism.

As we can see, these parties go on screaming that “the fascist Milei is coming”. But is fascism coming to kill the workers now? This would mean that the bourgeoisie has decided to launch a civil war against the workers' organizations. If this were the case, these currents, instead of calling to vote for Massa, should be calling for setting up a large congress of employed and unemployed workers, student organizations, etc., in order to   set up thousands of self-defense committees of workers, youth and women to crush fascism. As Trotsky said in France in the 1930s: “It would be absurd to shoot guns over a ballot box. But it would be still more absurd to defend oneself against Fascist gangs with a ballot”. (“Once Again, Whither France?” 1935).

And if Massa wins, we must also hold this large workers' congress to regroup the ranks of the exploited. In a Massa government, the soldiers, the repressive armed forces and even the union bureaucracy with the Triple A like in the '70s, will be at the order of the day to impose the brutal attack on the working class, from whom they need to take the enough mass of Surplus value to pay Macri's fraudulent foreign debt to the IMF.
Izquierda Socialista, by calling to vote for the bourgeoisie, becomes politically responsible for everything done by the government that it called to voting for.

The front with the “democratic” or “progressive” bourgeoisie means the suicide of the working class. Here 1 plus 1 do not add up to 2, but rather they are opposing, irreconcilable forces.
It is an obligation for Marxists to denounce this democracy for the rich, which is based on the arch-reactionary and Bonapartist 1853 Constitution, as a machinery that serves imperialism and the bourgeoisie to “appropriate” the sweat and blood of the workers and the poor people.

Reformists lie openly. Milei does not act alone. His whip is effective if the "progressive" bourgeois disorganizes the workers' ranks, controls them, builds a wall to obstruct the fight for their demands and imposes, as Massa does today, one of the worst attacks on the wages and workers' conquests of the last decades.
“Vote for Massa”… and you will get a cabinet full of people from Milei, from the PRO, from the UCR. Will “Pollo” Sobrero and the leadership of Izquierda Socialista enter that cabinet “to accompany the experience of the workers”? With that lie, Stalinism has surrendered the global working class for decades. They are on that path.

For this reason, the Marxist apothegm affirms that the most “generous”, “charitable”, deceitful and demagogue of the bourgeois gangs is the most perfidious enemy of the proletariat. It is the one that disorganizes the workers’ forces, represses and crushes them so that fascism can then finish its task. This is the “old popular front policy” of Stalinism.

They haven't learned anything from Peru. The traitors of Stalinism invented a bourgeois party that, with Castillo at its head, dragged along the majority of the Peruvian working class. It disorganized their ranks. Castillo applied madures benefitting all transnational corporations and imperialism, and negotiated with them, attacking workers and peasants day after day. And when this government was like a squeezed lemon, Dina Boluarte's coup came. And this coup was only possible because the traitors of the CGTP called for political support for Castillo, and left the working class tied to its executioner.
Let's be clear, Izquierda Socialista and its sister party in Peru also called to vote for Castillo to "accompany the people's experience." This is a whole program: "to accompany the experience of the masses" we must support the bourgeois leadership that manipulates them, but yes, of course, "critically."

The FIT-U parties have already, as we have demonstrated sufficiently, openly broken with the Fourth International, the program of revolutionary Marxism and Trotskyism. It's already clear what's happening here.
The Cuban Stalinist left, which covers up the surrender of Cuba to imperialism and the new capitalist “gusanos” of Havana, has put Izquierda Socialista and the majority of the vernacular left under its arm. They are incurable.

And at MST’s home, how are they doing?
Yes, but no... maybe... but yes

The MST thing does not surprise us, because it already voted for the anti worker Luis Juez. Encouraging the vote for Massa again from the stands is not at all unusual in the MST. In the same fan-club they have the PTS cheering for Massa's victory. The NMAS and Izquierda Socialista entered directly to the mud to play.
The MST... always the MST... They supported Sanders, they are from the DSA international that supported the Democratic Party. They are with the PSOL in the government in Brazil. Nothing new under the sun.
They write the same gibberish to call for support for Massa, acting like an elephant that wants to hide himself under a scarf.
The masterminds of the MST leadership say: “Our first definition is to call on workers and young people NOT to vote for Milei and its reactionary anti-rights and denialist project which must be stopped. At the same time, on the basis that they do not conduct equal projects, we understand the democratic will of those who voted for Massa so that Milei does not win , therefore, we will not call for a blank vote or campaign in that sense”. And then they say “but nevertheless Massa blah blah blah…”
They are a little less delicate and careful than the “yes-no party” of the PTS.

And the Partido Obrero?

We know that the PO was a loser in the FIT-U primaries. There is no doubt that not only Juntos por el Cambio has broken up, in fact, so has the FIT-U too, while they maintain a superstructural gentlemen's agreement where the seats are defended. Beyond that, nothing. The future will tell.
The impotence and bankruptcy of the FIT-U speaks of this, as they did not prepare the working class to confront the two watchdogs that, with different collars, serve the same master: the IMF, the US embassy and the slavery bosses.
Some say that they are going to impose the plan with the strikebreaker, traitor union bureaucracy and their sticks, and with… the repressive forces.
Milei says the same thing, except that the sticks will be wielded by a social base desperate for the crash and the crisis of the ruined middle classes, and sectors of the lower layers of the proletariat left to their fate by the union bureaucracy. To them the Mileites will propose that their crisis is not resolved due to the responsibility of the proletariat.
In this undemocratic trap of the runoff, where the only goal is for the next executioner to have the majority of votes in the country, the bourgeoisie defines which is the best government to manage and centralize all of its businesses. Both candidates are the two ends of the same rope with which they seek to strangle the working class. When the last vote is counted, even the blank votes that “the last PO conference voted for its militants,” the attack will be fierce.
If in the middle of the electoral campaign they took the unemployed movement (the “picketeers”) out of the streets and canceled the campings in front of the State buildings! If in the middle of the electoral campaign poverty and the loss of conquests have multiplied! What Massa won't do if he wins... and not to mention Milei!
Therefore, the blank vote against these Bonapartist ways that only allow for choosing between the “black or white” of the run-off, is only the starting point of a revolutionary policy. The PO has enormous influence on the picketeer movement, and within the SUTNA. They announced from the rooftops their enormous weight in the working-class neighborhoods. And they held an internal conference of their party to decide what they would do in the elections, that is, whether they would support the bourgeoisie or not. If a party that calls itself revolutionary has to hold a conference or congress to discuss whether they support the bourgeoisie or not, in reality what they are voting on is whether to dissolve or not.

But here you have some surprises. Now it is clear what the PO's blank vote is about. As Romina del Pla said in a public interview with Chiche Gelblung on Crónica TV, “the blank or null vote is for the militants.” This is what their conference voted for, clarifying that they are not going to campaign for the blank or null vote.
Let's imagine the PO calling to vote for the FIT-U, but announcing that they will not campaign for it. It would be not campaigning for the FIT-U. Not campaigning for a blank or null vote amounts to washing their hands and allowing workers to enter a death trap, without fighting against the regime, the government and the system. The most left-wing of the proposals turned out to be the most deceitful of the FIT-U parties' policies in calling to vote for Massa.
The PO's blank vote is something like telling the workers "vote for Massa, we would be looking the other way." A plan that is too conscious of a left that is already openly a part of the bourgeois regime.

The PO had and still has all the possibilities to call for a great congress of the workers' organizations of struggle in Jujuy, called by the SUTNA, the picketeer movement, the teachers, who seek to go out to fight again, and from there, to prepare the response to the class war that the bourgeoisie has launched helped by the electoral screen.
Unfortunately, this call, the PO leadership refused to make. And the workers' vanguard arrives disorganized and with its ranks divided in the face of the class combats that are coming.

That’s why we affirm that the FIT has gone wholly bankrupt. And it is in question whether it will even continue to be an electoral cooperative of this arch-reactionary regime of the 1853-1994 Constitution, or a collector of Massa votes, which is what they have already voted to be. Massa celebrates. In different ways, the FIT-U parties have voted that the workers have to vote for Massa. A political crime of class collaboration by the left of the regime. This is the perfidious policy of class collaboration, of subjecting workers to the “good bosses.”

We are not surprised by this political maneuver of the PO. The thing is that when they had not lost internal elections within the FIT-U, like this year, they had called to vote for "No" in the cheating Syriza plebiscite in Greece, a party which even when the "No" to the agreement with the Troika won, applied a brutal offensive against the working class of that country. The PO called to vote for Boric, the direct agent of the US imperialists and the Pinochetista regime in Chile, and for all the "progressive" bourgeois that emerged in Latin America under the scam of the "Bolivarian Revolution", like Morales or Correa.

For a revolutionary course of action for the working class and rebellious youth...

Down with the run-off trap!
Let Everyone of them go out, not even one should remain!

Vote blank! Workers never vote for any of their executioners!

We must now regroup the ranks of the workers to face the attack of the capitalists, before it is too late. We must prepare the conditions to tell the working class that this attack that is coming must be stopped with pickets, strikes, self-defense committees, kicking out the bureaucracy of the unions, preparing the revolutionary general strike, regrouping the ranks of the working class with a program for the Argentinazo and the revolution.

We must regroup the workers' ranks to fight alongside the Palestinian unions, which called to repudiate the Histadrut, the Zionist-fascist labor-management confederation, and fight internationally against the genocide in Palestine, as workers in different ports of the world are already doing by refusing to ship weapons and supplies for the Zionist-fascist State of Israel, from Oakland to Belgium, from France to Barcelona.
The SUTNA must make that call. A brave anti-imperialist voice has to stand up in Argentina. Because, how can the IMF and Milei be defeated if the US imperialists, with their Zionist puppet, crush and fill rebellious Palestine with blood?
Imperialism has concentrated all its forces in its backyard to go for counterrevolutionary adventures around the world. Here and there in our subcontinent, and now in the United States, in support of the Palestinian masses, the workers and the oppressed have risen up and continue to rise up.
The working class needs to recover its militant internationalism to break with the IMF, to defeat the anti-worker and repressive governments of the peoples, to coordinate its struggles and demands. Everything else is neither socialist nor revolutionary. It is parliamentary talk to subsume oneself into this rotten regime of democracy for the rich.

Thousands of workers have voted for the FIT-U. They deserve a true socialist and revolutionary policy. But to do this, together with the acknowledgement of these cruel and hard lessons, and the fight against opportunism and revisionism in Marxism at the international level, it will be necessary to recover and refound the Fourth International, its program and its clean flags.
The fight to re found Argentine Trotskyism with the program of the founders of the Fourth International of 1938 is an unfinished task, for which entire generations have given their lives. These and thousands of combative workers in this country do not deserve this opportunistic policy of the FIT-U, which leads them to trust the largest slavers, exploiters and support the greatest traitors of the labor movement, which is the union bureaucracy.

Our small international revolutionary nucleus fights under the flags of Trotskyism and the Fourth International. We know that we are sailing against the current again. But the facts, the crude facts, will be what will convince the workers of the justice of the revolutionary program.
It is about regrouping insightful workers, even if they are 10 people, according to Lenin, and not 10 thousand stupids, without intention of insulting anyone. How right Lenin and the Bolsheviks were!

Neither Massa nor Milei, the two guard dogs with different collars, serving the US embassy and the looting of the IMF! Vote blank! Congress of workers, picketers and rebellious youth! Let everyone of them go out, not even one should remain! For self-defense committees and worker regrouping! Let us defend our class from repression, hunger and the betrayals of the union bureaucracy! The fight is class against class.
To unite the ranks of the workers, conquer decent work for all and wages according to the basic basket, together with the working class and the peasant masses of Latin America, break with the IMF and expel imperialism, the path is the Argentinazo. Down with the infamous regime of the social pact of the slavery bosses, the bosses' politicians and the traitors of the union bureaucracy!
Stand up alongside the Palestinian unions! Boycott the Histadrut! Food, medicine and supplies for the heroic resistance of Gaza and all of martyred Palestine! For the destruction of the Zionist-fascist State of Israel!

For the working class to live, imperialism must die!

Editorial Committee of the newspaper Democracia Obrera of Argentina

About Myriam Bregman's "likes" and
the virtual class struggle of the PTS

After the electoral failure of the FIT, which was overwhelming in the big workers centers (in Jujuy, the province of the "Jujeñazo" of June, they went down from 23% in 2021 to 3.5% in these general elections; in Matanza they lost half of the votes, also in Neuquén) the leadership of the PTS seeks to come out unscathed from displaying one of the most right-wing policies of the Argentine left in an electoral process.
They can no longer lie. At this moment they are like a driver who has a flat tire on the front two wheels of a car, has it lifted with a cricket and accelerates it with the wheels in the air, without the car moving.
It is the party of the "millennials". They talk about the "likes", the "retweets". They are the boys and girls of the networks. As if the proletariat and the civil wars were defined on that terrain! The campaign of "Bregman, an idol in the networks" has been designed to prevent the majority of the militants from leaving for home. Everything is valid to try to show some success in the face of a resounding failure and an impotent and reformist policy.
They have thousands of "likes" in the networks in favor of Bregman, but neither in support of the socialist revolution in Argentina, nor for the Argentinazo, or the Cordobazo, or for a call to fight in all Latin America against the IMF. There were no "likes" or "posts" or "retweets" because the former propositions did not exist.
But the most right-wing thing -which has been filmed and seen by millions-, is that they gave their condolences to the Zionist-fascist settlers who, from the land they occupy, bombed and shot the Palestinian masses in Gaza when the latter broke through the fences and walls that enclose that ghetto. They cannot deny it. Their support for the Palestinian people is pure lip service. Lest they lose votes…

The PTS is the party of the "neither"... "Massa or Milei, neither". Gaza is divided. On one side Hamas is fighting, in a just anti-colonial war, and on the other side there are the armed counterrevolutionary forces of the occupation. In which trench is the PTS? "Neither". Neither does it call for a consistent confrontation with the bourgeoisie, nor is it for the military defeat of the Zionist-fascist state of Israel and its destruction, nor is it for the arming of the Palestinian masses of Jordan, the West Bank and Lebanon to enter the just national war with the method of civil war and go all the way with the uprising of the world working class.
We insist, they are the party of "neither"... Neither socialist revolution, nor expropriating the capitalists to raise the standard of living of the masses, nor defeating the capitalist restoration in Cuba, nor promoting the revolutionary struggle in Latin America so that it succeeds also in the U.S. "Neither" it occurs to them to raising this program.
