Bridgestone, Pirelli and FATE, after 33 hearings at the Ministry of Labor, refused to give in an inch of the demands made by the union and are determined to defeat our struggle. For this reason, together with the automakers, they launched a "savage" lockout. The tire companies announced the "temporary" closure of their operations and suspended the production of tires. Ford is shutting down one or two shifts due to the lack of tires, while Renault, Nissan and Toyota will stop production due to lack of inputs. This is an open attack by all the bosses to bring our struggle to its knees, which every day becomes more and more the struggle of all the workers and the poor people of the Nation.

The bosses do not care about negotiating and have Moroni on their side, who has denounced Crespo before the courts for occupying the Ministry of Labor. The Fernandez government first bet on wearing down the struggle, but now with Massa at the head, and supported by the CGT union bureaucracy, tells the workers that if they do not accept the conditions of the bosses they will open the import of tires in order to break the strike. Meanwhile, Patricia Bullrich, who acts as spokesperson for the tire bosses, attacks us.
There is no gap between them when it comes to trying to defeat us. They want to take away our struggle and our union in order to liquidate all our conquests in the service of the American, British companies, etc.  THEY ARE COMING FOR EVERYTHING.  
The union bureaucracy of SMATA and UOM met with Massa and De Mendiguren to defend the interests of the automotive and auto parts companies. They want the tire workers to stop their struggle instead of calling a strike... They are scabs and agents of the bosses, the government and the US embassy where they all kneel! They are the guarantors of the plans of imperialism and the IMF!
The workers have to disregard the collective bargains imposed by these millionaire union bureaucrats and, from the rank and file, set up assemblies with mandated delegates to defeat them and unite the tire workers under the same demand.
In this way they seek to generalize their plan of slave laborers working 12-hour days, or more, with starvation wages to the entire working class. The plan of the tire companies, which is the plan of all the bosses, is to steal our wages with wages well below the estimated 3 digit inflation. The CGT and the CTA went to meet with Fernandez to agree on a miserable end of the year bonus, which is a swindle for the workers. They are looking for the workers to give up and continue to be stolen by inflation with downward wages, as shown by the UOM's wage agreement, where the metalworkers lost almost 40% of their salaries.
Enough of the treacherous union bureaucracy, servant of US imperialism! The CGT is part of the attack on the tire workers and the entire working class. Down with its infamous Social Pact with the big bosses, the government and the US embassy!
The struggle of the tire workers is a decisive battle for the whole workers' movement.
We have firmly maintained the struggle for wages and dignity in spite of enduring persecution and harassment, even with the police inside the plants, in addition to suffering discount of hours and days, receiving miserable payments... We, the tire workers, deserve to win!

For a National Committee of Struggle of employed and unemployed workers
The leaders of the SUTNA and the workers in struggle have all the authority to call, from the General Assembly of the whole union, for a National Committee of Struggle of employed and unemployed workers to unite the strength of the workers as a whole against the bosses, their government, the anti-worker opposition and imperialism. To make this come true, we must disobey the CGT, which acts as an office of the UIA (Argentinean Industrial Chamber) and the US imperialist embassy.

More than a hundred workers' organizations have already expressed their solidarity with the SUTNA workers: from Moyano's truck drivers' union to the Brazilian tire union (SINTRABOR); from the national CTA and the autonomous CTA, as well as the Internal Commission of Acindar. Let the FIT-U, the Plenary of Combative Unionism at the head of workers' organizations call for assemblies, a Strike Fund and a strike in solidarity with the tire struggle to set up this National Struggle Committee! Nothing can stop, for example, "Pollo" Sobrero from calling a two-hour strike in the UF-Haedo railroad workers. This is the way for the SUTNA workers to win. If they win, we all win.

There would be enough forces to march on the CGT to impose the general strike together with the organizations that are already in struggle, like the dock workers of Terminal 5, who have been fighting for almost two years against job insecurity and for their jobs, the ARS workers who are fighting against the surrender of the Shipyard, the teachers of AMSAFE, the state workers of ATE on strike and the militant students in CABA who are fighting against the internships.
With unity, coordination and effective struggle in the streets, we will be able to defeat the social pact of the bureaucracy with the bosses and the government.
We must defeat the bosses and the government, to fight for a minimum, living and moving wage of $260,000 for the entire workers' movement, indexed by inflation month by month.
In defense of the eight hours of work and for one more shift in all the factories... To distribute the hours of work among all the free hands so that they can get to work and produce.
Everyone knows how much we workers earn, but no one knows what the bosses earn.
Down with trade secrets! Open the accounting books so that the union, with the numbers in its hands, can prove that the companies take millions of dollars with them and flee their profits out of the country. They make fortunes and have money left over to pay a living wage. But if the bosses can't make a profit, then go away!
Expropriation without payment of any factory that closes, suspends or lays off and place it under the control of its workers.
Those at the top are preparing their justice, the police and the mobs to violently break the strike for wages and dignity, we can do no less than set up picket lines to defend ourselves.
We know that this call for a united struggle will awaken enormous sympathy among our comrades: the unemployed workers, the permanent workers, the hired workers, the precarious workers and especially the children of the working class and the people, the youth. This will encourage many others to join the struggle and is the road to triumph.
