Arrival to the house of Leon Trotsky in Coyoacan

Place where the Revolutionary General Staff of the 4th International workers in life of Trotsky, where he fall from his fighting place by Stalinism
Today it is transformed into a historic museum

“… we are the new generation who fought to keep the threads of continuity, we've declared war without quarter to Stalinism and counterfeiters of Trotskyism…”

In the afternoon, I could go to Coyoacán and visit the house of Leon Trotsky. I took pictures; it is difficult to describe the feeling of the place. They have transformed the house and tomb of our leader into a sightseeing tour. Outside, the facade looks a cultural center. There sometimes are cine debate, reading activities and various cultural activities that have nothing to do with the work of his former resident. In the entrance books of "Marxism" and pins and souvenirs with the face of Leon Trotsky are sold. The rooms that were not preserved have on its walls pictures that allow a tour guide to talk briefly the life of a revolutionary man. On one wall a family tree reveals the cruelty with which Stalinism pursued the leader of the Fourth International until the last member of his family. Their missing grandchildren, daughters, sons and sons-in law murdered or forced to death by the bureaucracy, they have just left alive his grandchild, who is responsible for this house today as a "museum". The first feeling seeing all this is rage. Once you are inside and go around the rooms, which were left with the furniture and original objects, you can feel at home. There is his library full of books, instruments with which he recorded so that his secretaries can type his work. It is a humble house, you can see that. In a house worked the leadership of our party, its international center. The study room of Trotsky is such that we see in pictures holding newspaper, a desk, a small bed to rest, some books. One can imagine the quotes and conversations that took place there, that little room where he developed and the program of the foundation of our world party took place. And that little room where Stalinism gave the final blow, after many failed attempts. We are told, when he was attacked, Trotsky fought against his attacker and when the safeguards arrived he stopped them so they did not kill this Jaques Monard (false identity Mercader) to interrogate him. Trotsky died next day at the hospital while his murder when he is out of prison is received with honors and awarded under the law "Lenin" by the restorationist bureaucracy of USSR.
A chill ran through me."Lenin" the medal was called! I'm walking through that home when I can stop in front of his tomb, where his ashes were buried, I read a sign that 250,000 workers and exploited followed the motorcade through the streets of Mexico carrying the remains of our leader. In another sign I see a quote from Trotsky in which stated that he was sure that his participation in the Russian Revolution had not been his most important task, he was convinced that the Bolshevik Party led by Lenin would have taken even without him the revolution to succeed. His essential task was the fight against Stalinism, continuity of the revolutionary Marxist program, so that new generations will retake and return to lead the victory of the socialist revolution. He was sure, and here we are, we are the new generation who fought to keep the threads of continuity, we've declared war without quarter to Stalinism and counterfeiters of Trotskyism, who have bastardized his name and betrayed a thousand times the working class, the one we want to lead to take them to the victory. Trotskyism must return to Mexico! For his program leads the fight of the exploited. Such an honor! With his combat and exploited Mexican revolutionary tradition allowed one of the greatest revolutionaries of all time could continue his work and thanks to this we are here today. In this land, and in front of his grave we stand up and shout: Long live Comrade Trotsky! Long live the Fourth International! Long live the international socialist revolution.
