April, 17th – International Day of the Palestinian Prisoners

Free the 7,000 political prisoners imprisoned in the Zionist jails!

A few days before April 17th, over 400 Palestinian political prisoners went into a hunger strike, in a campaign called “Battle for Dignity” in the torture prisons of the Zionist-fascist state of Israel. In Ramon, Eshel, Nafha, Ofer, Gilboa and Megiddo prisons, the political prisoners went into a collective hunger strike and raise their demands:

- Installation of pay phones in the prisons. Against the “Jammer” phones that make everyone who uses them sick.
- End of collective punishments to the political prisoners.
- End of prohibition of family visits.
- End of medical negligence policy for the ill and the wounded.
- End of isolation and the “solitary” (individual confining cell, TN)
- Improve the conditions and release the imprisoned children.
- Improve the conditions of the “Bosta” regime (a vehicle which transports the prisoners chained to a chair in the back, with no light, window or air ventilation in a trip that may take hours, TN) for the transferred prisoners and deal with the violations of human rights against the imprisoned Palestinian women.
