Comrades of the
International Network
for the Freedom of Political Prisoners,
The 12/12 must unite us as one fist in the world
Never more alone. The same class, the same fight
We, Colombian miners grouped in SINTRAMINERCOL support the struggle for the freedom of the political prisoners of the world and in defense of the persecuted workers and peasants
Enough of selective killings, massacres and displacements
We want to transmit from the depths of the mine tunnels and bloodiedland of Colombia our most fraternal and combative greeting to the imprisoned and persecuted comrades of the world, to the martyred Syrian and Palestinian people, to Yemen, to the workers of South Africa, to the prisoners in Greece, Mexico , Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Palestine, Syria, Egypt, in short to all the prisoners of the world.
We know that it is with the struggle of the working class and international solidarity that we can defeat the bourgeoisie and imperialism. Our enemy is the same: the imperialist mining transnationals like AngloAmerican, BHP Billiton, Drummond and the oil multinationals Andes Energy of Argentina, BC Exploration, GulfSandsPetroleum PLC, Range, PetróleosSudamericanos (South American Petroleum), Mansarovar and Anadarko, all of them plunderers of our natural resources.
We are in solidarity with Las Heras comrades for their example and tenacity against the arrest and subsequent rigged trial by the Kirchnerite bourgeoisie against the unjustly condemned comrades. We have seen how, in response to this attack, thousands of workers worldwide stood up, the Palestinian prisoners in the jails of the Israeli occupier and the Basque political prisoners were on a hunger strike, the workers and young Zengakuren of Japan surrounded the Argentine Embassy, the workers and young people who were rising in the Middle East and the Maghreb fighting alongside you side by side. Huge forces of workers have allowed 12/12 to be the appointed day to join our cry with yours and the oppressed of the world and in a single voice to shout, fight and mobilize for the freedom of the thousands of political prisoners in the world.
Our present struggle is for the nationalization of natural resources, for it to translate into improvements in our living and working conditions. We miners have grouped to confront and expel the multinationals, a task and a struggle that we must expand to all over the Americas, that is why the struggle you are fighting against a multinational encourages us and fills us with joy; because it is part of the fight against the regimes and imperialism. We die and fight together with our class siblings from Syria, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Yemen, who are going as refugees to Europe, escaping the counterrevolutionary massacres of imperialism, Putin, Bashar al-Assad and other fascists who kill their own people. As we die together, we have to fight together.
Freedom for all the political prisoners of the world!
Freedom for all 7,000 political prisoners in Colombia! This is our strength, unity and international struggle! We do not forget; we do not forgive!
Enough of massacres and evictions from the land in Colombia by the government and the paramilitaries!
Get out of Colombia, Gringo military bases!
For the nationalization of all natural resources in Colombia, America, Africa and the Middle East!
We are all miners! Equal pay for equal work!
With you, fraternally.
