Intervention of Jusa from Zimbabwe, a socialist leader and member of the trade union federation of that country
International revolutionary greetings from Zimbabwe in Southern Africa, where we have 90% of unemployment. I denounce the coup d’etat of direct agents of imperialism, a true plot against the masses of Zimbabwe made by imperialist transnational companies, Mugabe generals, Zanu PF and the MDC. Zimbabwe is a military state.
We continue fighting for political prisoners of the likes of Itai Dzamara who was abducted three years ago and we say the struggle continues.
Comrades, as part of the international solidarity, I came here to show our solidarity. We stand together with the condemned workers of Las Heras. We want to tell you that this December you are not alone. You are with us.
12th December is not for us to celebrate. Workers of the world have nothing to celebrate. We have the same enemy in every corner of the world. We demand the immediate ceasing of the causes against the more than 7000 workers and popular fighters prosecuted in Argentina.
Five years on in Marikana and justice is still denied. We demand justice! It is in the hands of the workers.
The blood of the miner comrades killed by the state and their police claims for justice! We won’t forget, we won’t forgive! We demand justice for the 34 miners of Marikana.
Today the workers of Southern Africa, of Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia suffer the same scarcity, outrages of the entire Africa of working class at the world at large. Our demands are the ones of all the workers movement in the region and of the world working class. Salary, decent job, and against the treason of all the leaders that speaking in the name of the unions and workers organization only sell out workers to their executioners.
We fight and we die together with our brothers and sisters of Syria, Libya, Morocco, that go as refugees to Europe escaping from counterrevolutionary massacres of imperialists.
We strongly denounce the black men being sold as slaves. Slavery was always one of Gaddafi’s favourite subjects in agreement with transnational companies. Gaddafi bourgeoisie is now back in Libya. The business of slavery has returned now in Africa. We need to fight together.
International struggle is our strength!
We do not forgive!
We do not forget!
Never fight alone again!
Shinga Mushandi Shinga!
Thank you
