I’m Omar Mansilla. A worker that was convicted in 2013 because I came out to fight against the income tax and labour outsourcing and equal pay for equal work. I am a member of the commission of convicted workers, families and friends of Las Heras.
We are here once again, seeking for solidarity of all the organizations, because lately we feel a little abandoned.
Another thing I want to tell you. We are still persecuted in Las Heras town. And these days, here in Buenos Aires,we have alsoseenthe repression against our working class of the same type they did in 2006 in our town, only because we demanded what belongs to us. Because of Labour reforms, pension reforms. And now, it is this topic again. And there are demonstrations because of those reforms that they are promoting since 2006.
I think we should escalate the struggle for the pension and labour reform not to be implemented.
We don’t want to be isolated. This is how they have been systematically defeating all the struggles. We all have to be united… all the workers… just as they also get united. In order to fight in the whole country.
Well, I wanted to tell you this. Most of you know me, since you’ve always been in this date. You know that it is hard for me to express myself but now, more than ever, we have to… because they are attacking all the workers of the country. It is happening all around the world.
