Long live the General Strike in South Korea!

That´s the way to fight to release the prisoners for fighting and against the privatization plans of the pro-Yankee government!

Immediate and unconditional freedom for the 130 rail workers in detention!

From 9th of December, more than 9.000 rail workers –today vanguard of the South Korea proletariat-  were carrying on a an indefinite strike, as part of their fight plan against the plans of privatization, massive dismissals, starvation and misery launched by the government of Park Geun-Hye
The bourgeois justice -as it makes in every part of the world each time the workers go out to claim for our rights- wanted to terrorize the strikers opening criminal cases against 25 leaders of the rail workers strike. They were called to declare in their courts. But the workers turned a deaf ear to this threat, denied to go to the judges, strengthened their base assemblies and pickets, and faced with more determination their fight.
Wound in her pride, the bourgeoisie, their government and justice, increased the repressive forces against the worker fighters. It was then that in the past December 22 they assaulted with 600 policemen the KCTU (Korean Confederation of Trade Unions) branch. Under the false argument of “obstruction of justice”, and in the middle of a brutal repression and a rain of tear gas, 130 workers, amongst them the leaders of the trade union of the Korea Rail Union Company (KORAIL), were taken detained.
That is how the bourgeoisie and the government of Park Geun-Hye, lackey and servant of Obama, took hostage these 130 workers, to emit fear over the whole of the strikers and the working class of South Korea.
The president stated with haughty airs that now “despite the difficulties” she would carry forward with their privatization plans, that would include not only the transfer of the rail to private hands, but also thousands and thousands of state workers dismissals.
Yet far away from stopping the workers, the fight back came soon. The same wouldn’t come from the field of laws, allegation and judicial gimmicks, but from the field of the political fight against the infamous government and regime. That’s why the Saturday 28th of December, they irrupted with a general strike thousands and thousands of workers of Korea. Seoul Plaza- where the main act of the general strike was convened- was overwhelmed with workers fighting against the privatization plans and for the freedom of the political prisoners.

Paralyzing the country, other trade unions (construction, state, metallurgical, automotive, etc) summed up to the fight. Workers of South Korea want to free their comrades, since they won’t allow that the government has their comrades as hostages when they go out to fight for their demands. The freedom of the comrades isn’t negotiated. It is not under discussion, say the dozens of thousands of workers that crowded the squares. They are taken from the claws of their jailors by the general strike and the street fight. And if there is no favorable answer for the freedom of the 130 comrades, there already are two new general strikes for the 9th and 16th of January.
The fighting workers of South Korea are a great example to follow for the workers of the world due to their brave attitude before the state of the oppressors and their fight against the judges, their courts and their police. The international working class and all of her organizations must come to help the Korean workers and take this struggle as their own flag of fight. That’s the way of fighting for our demands and for the freedom of our prisoners! That’s the road to follow! Long live the general strike! Immediate and unconditional freedom to the 130 rail workers and all the prisoners for fighting! Down with the privatization plans of the South Korea government and yankee imperialism!
The working class with their general strike and mass political fight has set clear who is the true owner of the nation. Now we must defeat the government of Park Geun-Hye! The workers and people are the ones who must conquer their own government!
