Nikos Romanos is free again!
Now, Freedom to all the political prisoners of Greece and the world!
On July 11th Nikos Romanos, one of the tens of political prisoners in Troika’s jails in Greece, is free again after 6 years in jail, 4 of them under the government of the scum left of Syriza. Nikos is an anarchist; he is part of the rebel youth who has stood up since 2008 in a revolutionary uprising Greece. Struggling with him in the barricades during this uprising, his friend Alexis Grigoropulos was killed by murderous police.
Nikos is a fighter against capitalism and its murderous states. We, as revolutionary socialists, and beyond all political differences, we are fighting for the destruction of oppressing bourgeois states and confront the same treacherous charlatan left and agent of imperialism who - like Syriza- has administrated Troika’s business, commanded NATO’s counterrevolutionary armies and applied the worst plans of hunger and repression against Greek workers.
Nikos is out of jail. A few weeks ago, other anarchist political prisoner, Giannis Michailidis –who had been arrested alongside Nikos- escaped from jail used by the state, the regime and government of Greece to repress those who had rebelled. With Giannis, we have fought for the freedom of the political prisoners of the world and we have supported the revolutionary partisans of Syria who fight against fascist al Assad, who have not surrendered –like PKK and YPG did- to the USA, who did not yield to the commands of the oppressing Turkish state.
Winds of freedom are blowing from Greece. Now those winds must open every cell in Greece and the entire world. Let’s free, from the dungeons capitalists’ regimens and governments, the political prisoners, like the Chinese working class and youth who have fought against slavery and the right to self-organization! Let’s open Gestapo-like prisons of fascist al Assad in Syria, where he has imprisoned, tortured and killed tens of workers, women and youth, like Zionism does in its jails and al Sisi’s dictatorship in Egypt! The Guantanamo prisoners are still in jail. Relatives of the 43 students of Mexico, Santillan’s, Kotequi’s and Santiago Maldonado’s families in Argentina are still claiming justice for the murder of their children…
In the dungeons of the Greek regime there cannot be a single political prisoner! That will be conquered by workers and rebel youth in the streets, confronting the government and imperialist Maastricht.
Revolutionary and internationalist greetings to Nikos Romanos, Giannis Michailidis! We know they will be in the barricades in the streets fighting against the regimens and oppressing states.
The Truth of the Oppressed, paper of the revolutionary socialists of Syria and the entire Middle East
