49,000 workers of General Motors went on a huge strike to recover their gains snatched by Obama and Sanders’ Democratic Party years before.
The true allies of the world working class start the fight against the imperialist Transnationals and Wall Street
This week 49,000 American workers of the imperialist transnational General Motors (GM) have gone on strike. The main demands are: salary increase, quality health insurance, profit sharing, bring all contracted workers into the permanent staff and guarantee the jobs.
In 2008/2009, when a huge global economic crash erupted, GM presented his balance sheets with losses and the bureaucracy of the UAW signed an agreement accepting wage cuts, layoffs, suspensions and loose of previous gains in order to save the company. By that time the president of the United States, Obama of the Democratic Party, imposed such agreements on all the American workers, subsidizing the super banks of Wall Street in bankruptcy. The imperialist pirates of US Democratic Party, with their agents of the union bureaucracy, threw on workers' shoulders the big US imperialist companies crisis. They socialized the losses of the imperialist pirates so all the exploited pay for the crisis, but then they privatized their profits. Transnationals like GM are making today huge super profit while workers are still under collective agreements imposed in 2009 by Obama and consolidated today by Trump.
The world reformist Left supports members of the Democratic Party, such as Sanders, who calls himself a "socialist." These currents tell workers in the United States and the rest of the world that Sanders is their ally, when actually he belongs to the Party that imposed on the working class the conditions against which GM workers fight today.
The great allies of the world working class are not Sanders or any scammers of the imperialist Democratic Party, but the workers of GM, who beat the big Transnationals and the imperialist pirates who plunder the planet. They rise up in the imperialist beast's heart, hitting it from inside. Long live the struggle of GM workers! Their fight is the one of all the workers on the planet.
Against the bosses’ blackmail of shutting down the plant in USA to get production from Mexico or China, where there are workers with miserable wages, we must unify the workers of this Transnational in different countries in a common struggle. Equal pay for equal work, for all GM workers in the world!
Decent salaries and all gains for all! Jobs for all, first for all immigrants, under collective agreement and full labor and citizenship rights!
We must expropriate 1% of imperialist parasites, which have taken over 50% of the planet's wealth!
