While Putin, the assassin of imperialism and murderer of the Syrian masses, deepens
the Bonapartization of the regime and the attack on Russia’s workers and youth...
Almost 70% of Russians regret the fall of the Soviet Union
Out Putin and the oligarchy, who since '89 are
stealing the riches of the former workers state!
Let the USSR return, free from the Stalinist bureaucrats who sold it out!
At his annual press conference, Putin demagogically says that Russia is heading towards socialization with "a fair distribution of resources, a fair treatment for people living in poverty and the development of a state policy aimed at reducing that (poverty’s) rate to a minimum" but he assured that "it is impossible for socialism to return to Russia".
However, contrary to what Putin says, almost 70% of Russians say that the fall of the USSR was a tragedy. And that feeling increases among young people under 30 years old. The reason is capitalist restoration, with which illusion the workers yearned for the overflowing supermarket shelves of Europe, today cannot even pay its slaves their miserable salary, that the successive devaluations of the ruble have reduced to 130 euros / 145 dollars a month.
The Russian economy is eaten up by huge expenses of the state apparatus. Imperialism has already made it pay 3,400 million dollars for the war in Syria and has been freezing the accounts of Russian magnates and oligarchs for 4 years. A new round of sanctions by the US and the EU deepened the crisis of this former workers' state with the fall of the stock markets and the ruble, causing millions in losses. In the last 8 months the ruble was devalued by 25% (almost 70 rubles to the dollar), that is to say a quarter of the wage of the workers robbed by the imperialist powers and their transnationals! And today almost 29 million Russian workers live below the poverty line (20% of the population).
While the 1% formed by that rotten oligarchy that comes out of the old nomenclature of Stalinism concentrates in its hands 74% of the wealth of the nation!
Already in last October it had passed a vicious law of pension reform, which raised the retirement age for women from 53 to 60 years and for men from 60 to 65 (when the life expectancy among men is 66 years).
Putin imposes on the working class and youth a regime of terror to prevent them from breaking out against the government due to their misery and hunger
Against the new pension law, there were massive mobilizations last September in 50 cities of Russia with more than a thousand detainees. The reason is that the Russian workers and young people are distinguishing more and more clearly who are those who have been -since 1989 and associated with world imperialism- stealing the wealth of the former USSR: gas, oil, finance and the military-industrial apparatus, namely, an oligarchy imbricated with imperialism and totally submitted to it, heir to the Stalinist bureaucracy that handed the USSR out.
Youth is the protagonist in many of the protests that are taking place in Russia; that is why it is one of the most attacked sectors. In a country where demonstrating is illegal and punishable by jail, there will now be penalties of up to 15 days of arrest, 50,000 rubles (750 dollars) of fine and 100 hours of social services for those who "encourage" teenagers to participate in demonstrations. That is the regime of terror imposed by the agent of imperialism Putin on the Russian masses and the oppressed nationalities!
The Communist Party
accompanies the regime of the fascist oligarchy
as the shadow goes with the body
The Communist Party, which claims to have been the organizer of the protests against the pension reform, is the second parliamentary majority (with 42 seats out of 450); it is the biggest supporter of the Moscow oligarchy, as it voted for or just presented a criticism and modifications to each of Putin's anti-worker laws, accompanying him in each of his military adventures to the US service in Syria, in appropriating Crimea, etc.
Not only the CPs of Russia are the support of Putin and his infamous Bonapartist regime, but he is also upheld by all the PCs of Europe and the world, by the Party of the European Left, by Syriza and the Podemos, and by most of the renegades of Trotskyism that try to present him to the exploited of the world as a "friend of the peoples, and an enemy of imperialism". Far from this, after Trump's announcement of US withdrawal from Syria, Putin declared during his annual conference that "Donald is right". "I agree with him", he said,"We have dealt serious blows to the IS (Islamic State) in Syria".
Putin is US gendarme, while imperialism disputes Russia, its resources and its military apparatus in the commercial war
Imperialism needs him, for now, because he has proved to be the best policeman in Syria, massacring thousands of exploited people for 7 years; besides, he is also a warden of nuclear weapons and the Russian industrial-military apparatus inherited from the USSR -to prevent them from falling into the hands of the masses should they rise in revolutionary struggle. Though at the same time, imperialism needs to complete colonizing Russia, to grab its natural resources (gas, oil, minerals), its arms industry and its highly skilled workforce. In fact, and together with China’s slave labor, these are the most precious booty that the imperialist powers dispute in the commercial war.
To put an end to this infamous regime, to end with poverty and hunger, for Russia to be again
a bastion of the revolution and not
of the counterrevolution...
Already the masses put on the agenda "the return of the USSR"!
Open the way to the workers and soldiers’ councils! For the seizure and nationalization without compensation of all property, businesses and land stolen from the workers by Putin, his cronies and all the former counterrevolutionary Stalinist bureaucrats! Renationalization of all the big industry, mining and gas!
Expropriation without compensation and under the control of the workers of every factory that closes, furloughs, lays off or does not pay the wages!
Out with the great Russian military bases and murderous troops from Syria, Ukraine and all of Eurasia!
Down with the counterrevolutionary pacts between imperialism and the butcher Putin, to massacre and subjugate revolutionary Ukraine and Syria! Crimea is for Ukraine and the resistance of the Donbas, and Tartus for the rebel forces of martyred Syria!
For the restoration of the dictatorship of the proletariat under revolutionary forms in all the former workers states! Let the USSR return without Stalinist bureaucrats or the traitors who handed over the Workers States! For the right to self-determination of the nationalities oppressed by Great Russia on behalf of imperialism!
From Portugal to the Russian steppes, a single working class. From the Russian Donbas to Ukraine; the same fight against the same enemy: imperialism and Moscow’s bankers and oligarchs, the same revolution. For the Socialist United States of Europe from Portugal to the Russian steppes!
