DAY OF INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY WITH THE WORKERS AND THE PEOPLE'S UPRISING OF COLOMBIA
From Iran…
The revolutionary socialists of the "Organizing Committee of Iranian Workers”
The revolutionary socialists of the Organizing Committee of Iranian Workers were present at the action day. In the resistance, they are fighting within Iran itself in the labor and social movement to organize the best of the vanguard, with the aim of putting on its feet a revolutionary party with the prospect of overthrowing the capitalist state. They also spearheaded the internationalist struggle for the workers of Ahwaz and Haft Tappeh, and for the world's political prisoners.
The comrades of the Workers' Organizing Committee have in their genesis having been a vanguard in the political struggle against the leaderships of renegades of Trotskyism such as Alan Woods, when they were part of the RMTI (Revolutionary Marxist Tendency of Iran) with which they broke in 2010 for their support of Chavez- Ahmadinejad.
The comrades also left their message reporting on the latest news from Iran where Esmail Bakhshi, the activist for workers' rights recently announced that the sugar cane factory "Haft Tappeh" was returned to the government, and that it is no longer a privatized company. Saying also that there is a long way to go. They also shared the twitter message where Esmail Bakhshi says:
“We said that Haft Tappeh was liberated from the capitalist private sector. We didn´t say that we had achieved ‘freedom’. With this new victory, we have reached zero point. Dozens more lawsuits remain. The future is assured for us as long as we are organized. The Haft Tappeh workers have suffered for years and they have charged for it."
