DAY OF INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY WITH THE WORKERS AND THE PEOPLE'S UPRISING OF COLOMBIA
From Las Heras, Argentina…
Message from Claudia Pafundi, member of the Commission of Condemned Workers, Relatives and Friends of Las Heras
“From our commission we are going to make a proposal so that those of us who are part of the International Network for the Freedom of All Political Prisoners and Justice for Our Martyrs may call for a day of fury around the world"
We want to send you our warmest greetings from Patagonia, the oil town of Las Heras. From here we fill our hearts to see how the fight against Duque, the US imperialists and their military bases is not abandoned. But it also fills us with hatred at how you are massacred and repressed.
Here in Argentina we hear how they talk about a progressive government like that of the Fernándezes, when it is the same government that repressed us, occupied our town with the gendarmerie and sentenced us to life imprisonment and jail.
That is why we see how the same oil companies and imperialism that attacked us here is the one that is attacking our Colombian siblings and with the same methods that we lived in 2006. Although here they paint the Fernándezes government as progressive to deceive the workers. That is why we want you to know that you are not alone and cannot be alone. Your fight must travel the world.
From our commission we are going to make a proposal that those of us who are part of the International Network for the Freedom of all Political Prisoners and Justice for Our Martyrs call for a day of fury around the world. Together with the "October 18" Coordinator of Chile, with the families of the massacred in Senkata, with those who fight for the freedom of Abdallah imprisoned in France, with the prisoners in Palestine and Syria, with the relatives of the 43 disappeared students in Ayotzinapa. We want freedom of all the prisoners, the appearance alive of all the disappeared and justice for our martyrs! As they say in USA: Black lives matter! The lives of workers and peasants, of the entire continent, matter!
This we will achieve, if we unite around the world. An injury to one is an injury to all. Thank you. |
