DAY OF INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY WITH THE WORKERS AND THE PEOPLE'S UPRISING OF COLOMBIA
From Las Heras, Argentina…
Message from Claudia Bazan, member of the Commission of Condemned Workers, Relatives and Friends of Las Heras and wife of José Rosales (sentenced to life imprisonment)
“With my family we have followed closely what is happening and it seems to us an atrocity, today more than ever we must be united,
An injury to one is an injury to all”
From Las Heras, province of Santa Cruz-Argentina, we want to send our support and solidarity to our Colombian comrades, since what is happening and what the repressive Duque government is doing to the people seems to us an atrocity.
I think that if we look at it from a political point of view, all Latin American countries are going to get to that point. In all countries there are reforms and they attack us that way.
The persistence of our Colombian siblings to continue taking to the streets, to continue marching, despite the threats and persecutions they are suffering at the hands of the government, is an inspiration to us.
That is why comrades, today more than ever we want to tell you that like us there are many comrades in Argentine and in all the countries of the world encouraging you to continue and sharing your activities that are being carried out so that everyone knows what is happening and the death of the comrades by the hands of the repressive state, don't go unpunished.
We in my family have been closely following what has been happening and it seems to us an atrocity. So I think that today more than ever we should be united. We want to tell you, Have strength comrades, and an injury to one is an injury to all.
