Today, in the earlyin the morning, 8 miners were killed and tens were injured when dump trucks that were entering the mine with workers on board exploded at level 240 (30 or 40 minutes from the entrance of the mine) for daily work. This tragedy today fills mourning and shocks all mining families and all Bolivian workers. Already earlier in the month of February a miner died crushed by a load of ore due to the exhausting working hours and the infernal production rhythms. Immediately after the explosion, the shocked and worried miners took their wounded comrades to the health center Santa Maria in Huanuni and those who have greater physical damage to the worker hospital in Oruro. All activity was suspended throughout the district of Huanuni.
The government announces that it is necessary to investigate, so they send Investigation Committees, police experts in explosion and blah blahblah ... It was not an accident, it was a massacre for the complete disinvestment in security in the Huanuni Mining Company! The State, the Government and the Imperialist Transnationals are responsible for it! They are all murderers! They even want to blame the "jukus" (mineral thieves) using them as scapegoats when the jukus are miners who work "illegally" risking their lives entering unconventional routes since there is no work and unemployment is a cruel reality. Enough of swindling the working class! Blaming the alleged "jukus" they want to cover this new massacre perpetrated by Morales Government and the Imperialist Transnationals! The biggest "jukus", the real ore thieves, are the Imperialist Minining Transnationals!
The miners of Huanuni, as the 100% of Bolivian mines, are exposed every day to precarious and unhealthy working conditions, The slightest investment of the government and Transnationals to improve the conditions of the miners does not exist, On the contrary they are forced to extract more tin from the mines before the increase of mineral prices to guarantee the looting of the nation. That is to say, the more the prices of minerals rise, the Transnationals continue to receive millions of profits at expense of worker deaths.
The same happens in the Yerada coal mine in Morocco where 9000 mining deaths are recorded, in the mines of Ukraine, in Zimbabwe, to give just a few examples. If it is not with bombs as in Syria or wiyh bullets as in the massacre of Marikana in 2012, this rotten system assassinates its slaves with nfernal rhythms of production and the deplorable conditions of industrial security to which they are forced to work.
On both sides of he world, the Transnationals, trough the servant Governments' hands like Evo Morales, push the miners to this tragic results for the working families. We must stop the dismissals, the suspensions, and the massacres of the working class, joining the workers to conquer the revolutionary general strike to defeat the government's attack and its pact with the Fascist Media Luna! For a single battle of the entire mining proletariat against the same Transnational Mining Companies, the IMF, Wall Street and Trump and the governments at the service ofplundering the nations! Meanwhile, the leaders of the COB, from MAS, prepare, together with the Government, a new stab to all workers´ back throughout the Nation, negotiating a miserable salary increase that is not even close to the basic family basket. And if that were not enough, they are calling the murderous Army to militarize Huanuni. Dissolution of all the repressive forces of the state! By self-defense committees of workers, poor peasants and combative students! With these leaderships you cannot fight, much less succeed! Recover the COB from the hands of the MAS' bureaucracy to stop the attack of the capitalists!
The Tansnationals and the anti-worker Governments deserve that the miners of the world, we centralize our forces, stop the production and go forward firmly towards expropriation without compensation and under workers control of all the mines at international level; there it is the money to invest in industrial safety, industrialization, health, education, retirement, housing and for all our demands. For a united and international struggle with our class brothers from Río Turbio-Argentina, Marikana-South Africa, Hwange-Zimbabwe, Huanuni-Bolivia, Cerro Verde-Peru, etc.
The emancipation of the exploited must be conquered by the exploited themselves!
