The remains of David Soria, a member of the FLTI and the LOI-CI / Democracia Obrera of Argentina, have already been handed over to his relatives. Great pain runs through all his comrades, his children and his family.
The Covid-19 test performed was negative. His death, as the medical certificate reports, was due to infectious pneumonia from which he could not improve due to his pre-existing conditions.
Both his relatives and fellow activists together requested his medical history, which will be given to us so that we can verify the absolute irresponsibility that the ambulance of the municipality of Tigre incurred in on two occasions. The current protocol for ambulances orders to leave every sick person who does not have symptoms of Coronavirus at home. This has already caused thousands of deaths throughout Argentina, all for the government and large private clinics to demonstrate their effectiveness in "fighting" the Coronavirus.
Despite this, at the time his illness worsened after two visits of the ambulance, as soon as it left, his militancy colleagues and family were the ones who took David to the Tigre Diagnostics Center on Monday and a little later to the Pacheco Hospital, where he died on Tuesday.
From there, huge displays of solidarity at the international level and in Argentina, of dozens of combative workers, unions and organizations of struggle of the working class and of political organizations, came in tribute to comrade David and in support of his family and his comrades of the LOI-CI / Democracia Obrera militancy. We will be reproducing and publishing each one of these adhesions, tributes and messages of solidarity.
While we are writing this note, we are bidding farewell to the
Pascual Villacorta and Paula Medrano
