RUT. 900.441.894-4
RESOLUTION OF THE MINISTRY OF SOCIAL PROTECTION #006
“SINALTRAMINECOL”
SUAREZ, CAUCA
29/1/2018
Against the plunder of our natural resources in Latin America by the Transnational Companies
No more dismissals, no more exploitation
For the Nationalization of our natural resources without compensation and place them under control of the workers and the poor
Expel the Transnational Mining and Oil Companies!
No more selling out our natural resources!
No more repression! We produce the wealth!
No more lackey government that are on their knees!
No more plundering!
Solidarity to our class brothers and sisters of the state-owned company Carbon Deposit Rio Turbio (YCRT) in Santa Cruz province in Argentinean Patagonia that today are fighting shoulder-to-shoulder against the oppressive imperialist-lackey regime.
Once again, there are more retrenchments in YCRT, which are part of a wave of dismissals in the State. There is more labour massacre imposed by Macri’s government and the governors of the provinces, in order to guarantee the payment of the foreign debt to the big imperialist banks. This is in addition to the starvation wages, repression and conviction to life in jail to the oil workers of Las Heras. Everyone, imperialism, the government, the “opposition” of PJ are imposing the relaxation of the labour market of the Argentinean working class, with thousands of dismissed and imprisoned. It is the same reform as in Brazil, France and Peru. The same one that they have been applying here in Colombia for several years now. The bourgeoisie and imperialism use Colombia as the pilot test of their repressive policies against the workers and poor peasants in Latin America.
While they leave 400 comrades of the state-owned mine in the streets, Macri removed the taxes on exports of Barrick Gold, Anglo American, BHP, Goldcorp and the imperialist mining companies, the same ones that plunder Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, the precious stones of Africa, etc. He met with the CEO’s of the mining companies seeking to agree in the sell-out of lithium and other minerals recently in Davos.
Once again we insist that capital doesn’t know and doesn’t have borders. We, the exploited, don’t have nations or borders either. We insist, we cannot keep fighting alone. Let’s unite our struggles from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego. Expel the transnational companies; for the right to the land; No pay the foreign debt; nationalize the banks so there can be money to work and decent wages.
No more fighting divided. Let the workers federation call to unify the struggles and to a Latin American and Southern African congress. Enough with negotiation rounds and sterile dialogue! We produce the wealth, so we get to decide. No more fighting alone!
When we found out of this new strike of our Argentinean brothers, we, miners of Segovia, Remedios, together with Sintraminercol, Asominercol, stand in solidarity with them and we call them to unite our struggles in the entire continent. We call the miner comrades of Chile, Bolivia, Venezuela, just as the comrades brothers of the miners union that led the struggle of Marikana that broke away from Cosatu (a huge class example, just as the expulsion of the treacherous leadership of the teachers union of Peru that shows us the way forward) to get our struggles against imperialism unified as a single fist, starting by endorsing this statement, as imperialism is the common enemy that so much tragedy, starvation and death has brought to our peoples.
Just as you, we as workers have been confronting the attack of the lackey governments sector by sector, and this weakens our forces, thanks to the reformist left that is in favour of the interests of the bourgeoisie and imperialism. The teachers, the health workers, the students have already come out to fight against the reforms that pound our interest. The masses have responded bravely against the governments that want to relax even more the labour market, more mass dismissals and increase the sell-out of our nations to the imperialist transnational companies. In every struggle there were enough conditions to unify the struggle, however we were betrayed at each step. We need to re-take that path and kick all the treacherous leaderships out off from our struggle organizations. Out with the Stalinist-Maoist treacherous union bureaucracy that divides us sector by sector and sells out our struggle in negotiation rounds behind the rank and file’s back! Unity and coordination, today more than ever! Let’s recover our unions from the hands of the sell-out leaders in order to put them at the service of our demands and our struggle!
For a unified struggle of all the sectors to confront the attack of the government!
Today in Segovia and Remedios (Antioquia-Colombia), Nariño, Cauca, the workers, peasants, natives and the population are confronting the cruel repression of the regime with his ESMAD squads, which are under the leadership of the US military bases. Repression has caused hundreds of arrested, tens of wounded and 190 leaders murdered, as well as thousands of displaced. This is the peace of Santos-Uribe-Farc, the peace of the graveyards. It is peace for the bourgeoisie and the transnational companies, while misery and repression for the poor masses.
With you, fraternally
Leadership Board
