An alleged “National Dialogue Congress” no one has voted…
Neither a “democratic dialogue” nor a “national Syrian” one
This is a congress among businessmen
in an occupied and partitioned Syria
HTS has gathered together the so called “Congress of national dialogue”, an organ no one has voted, made up only of certain Syrian regions businessmen representatives which al Jolani, who has travelled around Syria to negotiate, has interviewed. That is to say, it is a totally antidemocratic organ voted by no one, which has been set up behind the masses back. It is not a resolving congress; it is only meant to discuss business among a few.
Of course, the starting point of said congress is to recognize Syria as a partitioned and occupied nation. That is to say, it is not even national since, in spite of its name, it does not unite the whole nation. Southern Syria is occupied by Zionism which has now declared they are not leaving and they are actually annexing all occupied land. The Kurdish area remains under US imperialism military bases and their Syrian Democratic Forces officers. What kind of a national congress that cannot even guarantee sovereignty over the territory where it is established, that still holds Russian military bases and Turkish military outposts led by Erdogan!
This is a ´congress´ with no Syrian people representative; instead it convened businessmen who have never wanted to open fronts against al-Assad but made business with him either from Europe, Turkey, Qatar or in Syria. This is a congress of “business of death” representatives who have made fortunes over the Syrian people´s blood and today are sidekicks in the theft of its oil wealth by the US imperialism, just like al-Assad was before.
This totally antidemocratic “Congress” represents not those who have given their lives to defeat fascist al-Assad but those who, together with al Jolani and his gang, have conspired and still do, against the Syrian revolution trying to defuse it.
Neither the National Dialogue Congress nor the HTS government represent us.
This government has not given us food or decent jobs for all, much less rebuilt houses. They only represent a bunch of bourgeoisies defending their business and not the poor people’s interests. Protests for housing, decent jobs and living wages have multiplied. There are also protests to expel the Zionist occupant from the south of Syria.
All these protests are organized by committees that need to coordinate and centralize the fight for food and to be able to reach a general strike in every corner of Syria. Wherever those committees are not yet working, we need to set them up to organize food stock, to control prices, to organize refugees struggling for their housing, and the unemployed fighting for decent jobs. We need to coordinate those committees and unite their claims at a local, regional and national level.
These committees will be like those from 2011, where the Syrian revolution militia who defeated al-Assad, by putting the weapons at the poor people’s service must go, together with the thousands of displaced people, revolutionary workers and youth… everyone in search of expelling the invader troops.
Only a government of those workers and poor peasants committees can represent and defend the interests of the poor people. Only such government can even call a free, sovereign Syrian national assembly with a representative every 10 thousands inhabitants, recallable at any moment by their electors. It must take all powers in the name of the people: justice, lawmaking and the executive power.
For the assembly to be really free and sovereign, weapons must be in the hands of the people who combated al-Assad and his murderous gang. Former political prisoners freed from al-Assad jails must take care of those weapons so that they never turn against the people. How could we speak of sovereignty if the people surrenders their weapons to a government that does not represent them?
For the assembly to be really free and sovereign, we need to expel the invader troops that have partitioned Syria, starting with Zionism that has occupied Quneitra and Daraa and wants to take over the whole southern Syria. How could we speak of sovereignty when there are powers taking over Syria, with untouched US military bases in the north and Russian military bases in the west?
Oil, stolen goods by the dog Bashar, the great wealth of the Syrian people stocked in main banks must pass on to the State so that the people can eat and rebuild their houses. No one must take from the Syrian people what they have conquered with hundreds of martyrs! Expropriation without compensation of the great banks, oil wells and all the big businessmen properties to fund a plan of public works in order to rebuild Syrian infrastructure and houses, and for decent jobs for everyone with living wages!
Food, housing, freedom, power to the people! let the thieves and murderers of the people pay! Free Syria, free Palestine… nothing else!

March against the Jolani government. Who says that what was should remain as it was? He tells the revolutionaries to stay in the camps and support their homes for the shabihas.

They were evacuated from Aleppo in green buses. They returned to Aleppo and found their homes confiscated and sold. They went to court, and the judge told them to return to where they came from—the tents to which Al-Assad had forced them to flee.
