Siria - 2 de abril de 2026

While Al Jolani offers imperialism an alternative route to Hormuz to plunder the oil, and agrees to defend the borders of Zionism in the Golan Heights, just as Assad did yesterday...

A new uprising of the working and peasant masses in Syria, alongside Palestinian prisoners, for a free Palestine from the river to the sea

From this new front opened against Zionism, Abu Izen and Abu Mustafa, from the editorial board of the newspaper The Truth of the Oppressed, published by the Syrian and Middle Eastern socialists, write

After the Zionist parliament approved the law condemning Palestinian prisoners to death by hanging, a massive uprising swept through all the cities of Syria as part of huge mobilizations that took place throughout the Middle East and internationally.
But it is in Syria where they are going the furthest, marching even to the border with Zionism, as they did from Daraa, where they were stopped in Quneitra by Al Jolani's security forces. Rallies and marches also took place in Quneitra, as well as in Idlib, Aleppo, Damascus, Hama, Homs, Daraa, the Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp, and other towns in those provinces.
The slogans speak not only about overturning the Zionist law that will lead to the execution of nearly 10,000 Palestinian prisoners. The motto is for the release of each and every one of them, their safe return to their families, and for Gaza to triumph. For the Palestinian people to triumph and for the occupation to end, destroying the Zionist-fascist state of Israel once and for all.
Chanta and placards declare, “The entire Syrian people stand with the Palestinian people,” “We are for the liberation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem,” “Free Palestine!” “Let us declare war on Israel and set the border ablaze,” “Gaza will triumph.”
The Syrian masses seek to open the fronts that Al-Jolani closed and tear down the borders of the State of Israel that al-Assad guarded.
Thus, the Syrian people have completely broken with the government of the charlatan Al Jolani, who came to expropriate a revolution he never fought for, dedicating himself solely to doing business and lining his pockets at the expense of the martyrs' blood, closing fronts, and making deals with Assad, Putin, Erdogan, and the US imperialism, imprisoning those who sought to lead the revolution to victory. In fact, he still holds 15,000 political prisoners from the revolution in Idlib.
Al-Jolani had already declared his support for the Lebanese government to disarm Hezbollah in the face of the Zionist invasion of southern Lebanon, while the Syrian people stand with their brothers and sisters resisting the occupier. This Damascus businessman had condemned the missiles fired by Iran, while the Syrian people celebrate them and, in their demonstrations, exclaim, “Now it’s Israel’s turn!” and “To other Muslim peoples (for example, the Shiites of Iran), we say: do not attack us, but support us and fight with us against our common enemy (Zionism)!” The Syrian people seek international unity to defeat Zionism and US imperialism, while Al Jolani is their servant!
Since arriving in Damascus, Al Jolani turned a blind eye while Zionism was invading and seizing land in southern Syria. He then made a pact with Netanyahu and placed himself under Trump's control as the new custodian of the oil wells in northern Syria, which continue to be exploited and plundered by US oil companies.
On one side, US imperialism is launching a brutal counterrevolutionary offensive to gain full direct control of the Middle East—that is, of the oil routes. They are doing so through wars like the one in Iran and by trying to impose a "Greater Israel," with Zionism carrying out massacres in Palestine, attempting to invade Lebanon, and so on. Al Jolani is on that side.
On the other side, in the other trench, there are the Palestinian masses, the resistance in southern Lebanon, the Syrian masses in revolt, and all the workers and exploited people of the Middle East and the world who have taken to the streets to fight for Palestine.
Long live the uprising of the Syrian people alongside their Palestinian siblings! Let the fronts open!
Break the siege of Gaza! For the destruction of the Zionist-fascist State of Israel!
Hundreds of partisans are reaching the Golan Heights, but before they can reach the border to set it ablaze, Al Jolani's police arrest them. The Syrian masses seek to open fronts to fight the Zionist occupier that has stolen Syria's richest lands. City streets fill with Palestinian flags, rallies, marches… The Syrian people seek to complete the revolution in the only way it can succeed: by defeating Zionism and reaching Jerusalem alongside the Palestinian people.
We, who have been flesh and blood of this revolution and left our martyrs there alongside the 600,000 fallen, those who are part of the millions of Syrian refugees working as slaves, living as outcasts in other countries, or those who still crowd into tents in the worst conditions on the borders because their homes and Syrian infrastructure remain destroyed, the starving Syrian workers who continue to live in misery, the Syrian slaves of today—all of us together will avenge so much blood! We will do justice for the martyrs and conquer a dignified life and freedom! We will retake Syria, expelling all the invading troops! We will defeat imperialism and its agents! Al-Assad, Putin, Trump, and Netanyahu are war criminals!
Enough of businessmen who have enriched themselves at the expense of the blood of the Syrian people, like Al Jolani! Expropriation without compensation of all oil companies, banks, and factories under the control of their workers! All weapons to open the fronts and confront Zionism in the Golan Heights! Together with the resistance in southern Lebanon! For the destruction of the Zionist-fascist state of Israel! For the military defeat of the US! US imperialism out of Syria and the entire Middle East! Let Iraq rise up!
Thousands are already taking to the streets around the world. The pro-Palestinian movement is rising again in the main cities of the US and the imperialist metropolises of Europe. That is the way! It is time to return to the general strike like in Italy! It is time to seize the ports like the dockworkers of the Mediterranean did, preventing supplies from reaching Zionism!
We must paralyze the imperialist war machine! International general strike!
The US and Zionism deserve a Vietnam!
