“International Workers Organizer” #35

May 27 2022

Presentation

During the 21st century the world working class has not stopped fighting a single day against the capitalist catastrophe and the imperialist offensive

The rotting capitalist system is sustained by the cowardly and treacherous leaderships that it imposes on the working class.

We are presenting here this new edition of "The International Workers' Organizer", organ of the Collective for the Refoundation of the Fourth International / FLTI.

The critic conditions of the capitalist system, which threaten to lead human civilization to barbarism and war, have been extensively displayed in the Special Supplement of "The International Workers' Organizer" for last April.
A new article entitled "The crisis and bankruptcy of the capitalist world economy is accelerating", giving continuity and response to the evolution of the catastrophe of this rotting system, which is causing widespread famine to millions of workers on the planet, opens this edition of our international newspaper.
These objective conditions of capitalist crash have deepened the class struggle, the unbearable suffering of the masses and the processes of crisis, wars and revolutions.

During the last three years of bankruptcy of the capitalist system, the working class has not stopped fighting.  As in the US, clashing with the murderous police and white supremacists, sending Trump to the memory drawer... What a paradox: the entire reformist left, from the Communist Party and social-imperialist currents such as the US ISO, to renegades of Trotskyism of all colors and continents, they felt sympathetic to Sanders, and to the "democratic socialists" of the USA.  Thus, they placed the working class and the rebellious American youth as the caboose of the imperialist bourgeois “left wing” of the Democratic Party.  This is how the monster called Biden was born… a product of the “anti-Trump front” of the Democratic Party, supported, we insist, by the Cuban Communist Party, the entire American and world left and the majority of the renegades of Trotskyism in particular.
These currents are today tearing their clothes and cry against the "expansion of NATO" and its counterrevolutionary intervention in Eastern Europe and in the five continents; however, they had supported, sustained and called to vote for the NATO commander in chief that is, for Biden and the Gringos.
It has emerged a "New Left" comprised of Stalinists together with currents that have openly broken with the Fourth International, taking up the old policy of the Communist Party of supporting "democratic" imperialism during Yalta

Today's so-called “New Left” is following in the footsteps of the “peaceful coexistence” deals sealed by Stalin with Churchill and Roosevelt.  These currents reissue the policy carried out by Stalinism both in the 1930s and in the second post-war period, of support for all fronts of class collaboration in the West, thus strangling a thousand and one revolutionary processes.
The current tragedy is that this perfidious policy is being consumed and promoted by currents that come from Trotskyism and the Fourth International.
One of the greatest proofs of this, as we will not tire of denouncing, is their support for Sanders in the US, who acted as the "left leg" of the Democratic Party and gave his votes to Biden, the counterrevolutionary head of NATO. The American Stalinism, with the ISO and other social-imperialist currents wanted to sell to the US working class and the world the telltale that totally bankrupt imperialism can have a “democratic” policy to plunder the planet.  An infamous lie.  Imperialism sustains itself with wars, attacking its own working class, controlling trade routes and spheres of influence to obtain super-profits from the countries it oppresses.

A scandalous policy: the Latin American "New Left" is thus supporting the bourgeois fronts that come to divert the mass revolutionary offensives

This is what the role of these class collaboration fronts is all about.  This policy is the continuity of the one applied by Stalinism that led to dozens of defeats in the world revolution: tying the fate of the working class to its “democratic”, “progressive” or “anti-neoliberal” executioners (as they like to call them now) , all of them direct agents of imperialism, so that later, like the other end of the same rope, the repressive forces and fascism can crush and annihilate the vanguard.
This is what happened in Bolivia and Colombia, where the “siren songs” of Morales and Petro ended with Camacho and Áñez carrying out a fascist coup in the former in 2019 and with paramilitaries watering all the rivers of Colombia with the blood of the workers and the rebellious youth.
The class collaboration fronts anesthetize the working class and the exploited, throw water on the fire of the revolutionary processes, weaken and liquidate the left wing, so that later Bonapartist governments and regimes settle down to stabilize the control of the bourgeoisie, after that independent mass actions had put their domination at risk.

In Latin America, currents such as the LIT-CI, the ITU-CI and more "critically" the PTS, allies of the Cuban "left", have called for a critical vote, that is, to politically support those they consider to be governments and “progressive” fronts like Castillo in Peru and Boric in Chile.
These currents fraternize with the bourgeois left of the Kirchners in Argentina “against the right”, just as they do with the MAS parliamentarians of Arce and Morales in Bolivia, who are asked to solve all the problems of the working class.
In Brazil, in a disastrous way, they call to support the popular front of class collaboration of Lula-Alckmin, as do the "anti-capitalists" of the PSOL and all its tendencies and fractions, while others, like the PSTU / LIT-CI, call to vote for their candidates in the first round, knowing that in the ballotage they will vote again, as they did in the past elections, for Lula and his bourgeois associates.

With the alliance among the renegades of Trotskyism and various Stalinists, Boric, a self-confessed Stalinist, was supported. Thanks to them Boric is  the current commander-in-chief of the Pinochetista military and the administrator of the private education and private pension businesses and guarantor of the business of all the transnationals that are looting Chile. That is, they now support a “leftist” jailer and executioner of the rebellious youth, someone who has just militarized the south of Chile.

These currents have also supported that political swindler of the transnationals and imperialism called Castillo in Peru, who has just murdered 4 workers in the riots that shook that country last month.

We are facing a left comprising renegades from Trotskyism and neo-Stalinists that act holding and supporting the direct agents of US imperialism throughout the Americas, from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego.

When Havana, the Stalinist Patriotic Union and the FARC were just finishing to proclaim their support for Petro in Colombia -the LIT-CI and the PST of that country were rapidly announcing their call to vote for him, for which Petro himself "thanked them" by holding a meeting with the representatives of more than 60 US American companies, headed by Coca-Cola, to which he guaranteed legal certainty and the defense of all their businesses in Colombian territory.  "Tell me who you hang out with and I'll tell you who you are," some saying goes.

All of them have been recently supporting the scam of the "Bolivarian revolution" that was painted as "anti-imperialist."  Now they support class collaboration fronts that are direct agents of imperialism and that do not threaten to touch 10 cents of its profits, even in words.

That is what the new role of the renegades of Trotskyism and Stalinism in the Americas is about: a "New Gringo Left" that today plays the same role that the old Communist Parties had played yesterday in the postwar period and throughout the Yalta period: Supporting "democratic" US imperialism from within the mass organizations, mainly in Latin America.  That is why the Cuban Communist Party supported Batista; Monge's party in Bolivia handed over Che Guevara to the army for him to be shot dead; and in Argentina Stalinism was part of the pro-USA counterrevolutionary ultra-reactionary and anti-labor coups against Peronism, among other outrages committed by the Communist Parties during Yalta.

That is why the reader will find in this edition of "The International Workers' Organizer", key articles on this decisive issue that puts the struggle to recover the Fourth International and its flags on the order of the day.  This is the condition to set up new revolutionary vanguard parties that prepare and organize the proletarian revolution and decisively confront the leaderships servants of imperialism and the bourgeoisie.
We are then presenting here declarations about Chile, where the fascists act with impunity killing the rebellious youth, and the position of the Trotskyists of Comuneros de Colombia in the face of the electoral trap, reflecting their tireless struggle for class independence, whose banner the PST of the LIT- CI has handed over to the bourgeoisie.

Also, in these pages we reflect the tragedy of Bolivia that is expressed in the loneliness suffered by the organizations of the imprisoned and murdered workers of Senkata and Sacaba who marched to La Paz to write their cry for freedom and justice with the blood of their veins.  The workers and peasants who gave their lives to overthrow the coup of the Banzerist generals and fascism in 2019, were abandoned by the POR, the LOR-CI and not to mention the COB leadership during their harsh vigil in front of the Casa del Pueblo in La Paz.

Argentina: a policy of pressure from reformism on the bourgeois government to contain an independent mass action

This centralization of the Latin American reformist left is accompanied by the policy that the FIT-U of Argentina, and the Partido Obrero in particular, are imposing on millions of unemployed workers.  They no longer eat more than once a day in this capitalist Argentina, looted by the IMF and the transnationals today under the Fernández government, just as they did yesterday under Macri, always with the collaboration of the state-owned union bureaucracy.
The unemployed movement showed enormous weight in the streets during the Federal March, but it is totally controlled by a bureaucracy called "piquetero" of parties that are members of the FIT-U and Stalinists that coexist with sectors of the Church and Kirchner politicians.  This bureaucracy tightly controls the unemployed workers with the blackmail of delivering or withdrawing at will the social plans that the state gives them to administer, and for that they take lists of the people that attend the marches, forcing them to go if they want to receive the aid (notwithstanding their being ailing, pregnant, milking very young babies, aching, etc.)  and in this way, liquidating and suffocating any workers' democracy.  They are the negation of the heroic piquetero movement that emerged in 200, self-organized and supported by direct democracy to fight for their demand for work and dignity.  This used to be the movement of the unemployed that led huge battles alongside the occupied workers, which ended up defeating the De la Rúa government and launched a huge revolutionary feat 20 years ago.

Argentina today is experiencing a “controlled 2001” due to the piquetero bureaucracy in the unemployed or unregistered worker movement, and the union bureaucracy in the registered labor.  Moreover, this situation has torn the working ranks apart.
The FIT-U has ended up being an appendage of Kirchnerism and the bourgeois regime every day, controlling a fringe of the masses, while promising to break with imperialism, achieve wage increases and end unemployment, through laws in Parliament... Whom are these people laughing at?
Conquering demands that attack the businesses and profits of the capitalists without the method of the proletarian revolution is not only a utopia but also a deception and a lie towards the masses to submit them to the regime, to their executioners.  This deception is tying the hands of the exploited so they don't fight like they did in 2001, even taking over supermarkets to eat, which is the most direct way to impose consumer committees to lower prices and put an end to inflation.
It was with the unity of the unemployed and employed workers that closed factories were recovered or the working day was reduced in sectors of the labor movement.
That is what the crisis of the working class today is about: that of its leadership, which closes all paths to a revolutionary struggle.

At 180° from the policy proclaimed by the FIT-U, the truth is that in 2001 all of Argentina had to burn down so that the regime was forced to suspend the payment of the external debt for 3 years, which was later renegotiated and paid for by the Kirchner government.                          Today Sri Lanka has just entered into default so as not to pay its external debt.  This was imposed by the masses with their revolutionary struggle in the streets, to break the triple chains of super-exploitation and plunder of imperialism and the bourgeoisie.  In Sri Lanka the Rajapaksa government has fallen and for now, imperialism's grip on that oppressed nation has been weakened.
Life confirms more and more the Marxist law that posits, against the policy of the reformist left, that if the working class and the poor peasants do not take power, it is impossible to break with imperialism and resolve the agrarian question in the semi-colonial world.
Already in Chubut, Argentina, the workers and exploited had to burn down all state institutions in December of last year in order to collect their owed wages and expel the mining monopolies.
The capitalist crisis is no longer consistent with the desires and reformist potions of this "New Left”

We therefore present in these pages an article on Argentina by the Editorial Board of Democracia Obrera, taking as its starting point the Federal March organized by the piquetero movement from May 10 to 12 this year.

Ukraine at war: for the reformist currents that are hanging on the coattails of Putin or NATO, the Ukrainian working class and nation do not exist, though they are the ones that actually die and are destroyed in this war of occupation

Another central point where this "New Left" is grouping its forces to break with revolutionary Marxism and with any policy of continuity with the legacy of Bolshevism and the Fourth International is in Ukraine.  As they did in Syria yesterday (and continue to do today), these currents have left no trace of a revolutionary and class policy against the war.

For three months they have climbed on Putin's or NATO's tanks, when they did not collide with each other on any battlefield in Ukraine, since there only the Ukrainian working class dies and is sacrificed as well as the rank-and-file soldiers of Russia who are taken as cannon fodder by the butcher Putin to kill their class brothers.
All these currents agree with Putin and NATO in that Ukraine should not even be an independent nation.  In this way they liquidate all anti-imperialist demands and prevent the Ukrainian and Russian working classes from taking the political and military leadership of the war into their hands basing themselves on the revolutionary struggle of the European proletariat.
They can tell us that the Ukrainian working class is not seen in this war… It is the workers who are dying, taking refuge outside the Ukraine or hiding in the basements of subways or factories so as not to be massacred.
The Ukraine is being split and will end up being occupied, transformed into a colony and with its working class torn apart.
The left that proclaims itself "revolutionary" at the world level has broken with any independent Soviet strategy in the war while they submit to the bourgeois gangs that are fighting for Ukraine.

On May 20, the workers of Italy carried out a General and Social Strike, which was the first action of internationalist solidarity of the European workers with their brothers and sisters, the workers of Ukraine, confronting Putin and NATO.  Beyond this or that programmatic aspect with which we may not agree, this has been the first real struggle (in deeds and not in words) that the working class is waging in Europe, declaring "war on war".  That is, the class war against the counterrevolutionary war to the Ukrainian nation.

The call for this General and Social Strike unfolded as a huge vanguard action in key cities in Italy. That fight opens the way and is an example of effective international solidarity, not merely a verbal or symbolic one, against Putin's war and the armament and counterrevolutionary expansion of NATO throughout Europe.
Together with the statements about the current moment of the war in Ukraine, in this edition of "The International Workers' Organizer" we publish the position of the comrades of Democracia Obrera of the Spanish State and of Avanzata Proletaria of Italy before the call for the General and Social Strike of the Italian working vanguard.

Likewise, the reader will find in this section on Ukraine, an article reflecting the struggle of the Combative and Working Class Bloc of the Spanish State, in support of the fighting appeal of the Italian workers' vanguard.
The Combative and Working Class Block of the Spanish State brings together the forces of the combative sectors of the working class that have been trying for years to break the siege of the traitors of the bureaucracy of the CCOO and the UGT, those millionaire Stalinists and Social Democrats supported by the state, lackeys of the monarchy.
These organizations of the Combative and Working Class Bloc have issued a declaration in support of the day of struggle carried out in Italy, which is one more link that must be extended and developed to the entire European proletariat to confront the imperialist Maastricht, unite with the workers of the maquilas of Eastern Europe and with the martyred Ukrainian and Russian working class, which is in the clutches of Putin, his gangs of fascist oligarchs and the Orthodox Church.  There is no doubt that the European workers, with the method of struggle of the general strike, are the only ones who will be able to once again put the Ukrainian working class at the center of the current war, crushing Putin's "great" Russian invasion, conquering its national independence and being the vanguard of combat against NATO and the imperialist powers throughout Europe.

At 180° from this, the "pro-Ukrainian" currents of the reformist left, which demand that NATO send weapons to win the war, leading the resistance and the national struggle to a dead end.  Ukraine is a pawn that the US hands over to sacrifice in order to keep Sweden, Finland, Eastern Europe and advance in encircling Russia so that tomorrow it will march to subdue Moscow.

In bloodied Syria, the masses no longer allow for any amount of forgetfulness or forgiveness.
The currents of the reformist left, allied to Al Assad and Putin, have much to explain

In Syria, the fascist al-Assad, in order to decompress the situation of the starving masses in Damascus and all the territory he controls, announced that he was going to release some political prisoners. Only a few dozen of them left the prisons, in a state they did not recognize anyone, even themselves, or where they were, after years of torture. They were like those prisoners who came out after the torture of the Nazis and the Gestapo in the Second World War from the concentration camps.
The people of Damascus took to the streets to look for them. Quickly, the cry was: "Freedom and appearance alive of the 500,000 of our people who are no longer here!"

In Idlib, clashes against the millionaire businessmen of Al Qaeda (HTS) have begun, as they are as repressive and responsible for the masses' starvation there as al-Assad in Damascus, supported by Turkey, which has occupied a huge strip of Syrian territory in the north, already carrying there its currency and its troops.

The "New Left" in Syria earned the trust of the bourgeoisie and imperialism, supporting this historic massacre that they had proclaimed, under the command of the imperialist powers, as a fight "against terrorism".
These currents have much to explain. Oh, yes, they have a lot to explain. They said that the best thing that could happen in Syria was for al-Assad or the Kurds to win, who are under the command of the U.S. in common barracks with the dog Bashar. They have to explain.

The "International Network for the Freedom of the Political Prisoners of the World" has set up a call for an international campaign for the freedom of Syrian political prisoners, as can be seen on the back cover of this newspaper. "They took them alive; we want them alive!" is the cry of millions of workers and youth, coming from the hearts of the refugee camps and all over Syria.
Meanwhile, the Syrian resistance today is relaunching an offensive to open the fronts when it sees that Putin is weakened in Syria due to his turning all his forces to Ukraine, and at a time when a huge Palestinian resistance is developing against the attack of Zionism and  a magnificent revolutionary masses' uprising  is taking place in Iran, which is already shaking the entire region, as is reflected in the pages of this edition of “The International Workers' Organizer”.

Fighting against capitalist restoration in Cuba, a central task of the workers and peasants of Latin America and the US American proletariat:
To surround the rebellious starving masses of Cuba with solidarity, to recover the revolution that the Castroites sold out.

In this issue of “The International Workers' Organizer” we are also publishing the call for an international campaign for the freedom of Cuban prisoners, who rose up against hunger and slavery.

Faced with this enormous uprising of the Cuban workers and exploited on July 11, 2021, the so-called Cuban "left", led by Frank García Hernández and other militants of the Communist Party of the "red businessmen" of Havana, is demanding "indulgence" from that bourgeois government for the hundreds of prisoners of the starving working class, reaching the top of cynicism when asking it to "reduce some sentences".

If today this current of Frank Hernández can pose as the “critical” wing of the CP that is openly handing over Cuba to world imperialism, it is thanks to the legitimacy given to it by the liquidators of the Fourth International who traveled to Havana in 2019 (and also in 2021 to Brazil) to meet with these militants of Stalinism, and allow them to use the figure of Trotsky to carry out the worst outrages and betrayals against the working class of the Americas.
We are witnessing a great stab in the back to the world workers' movement: they cover García Hernández, who is a proud Castro militant with the aura of “Trotskyist”; although he marched on 11J shouting “the streets belong to Fidel” in the Communist Party column that beat the dispossessed masses that were marching to the Plaza de la Revolución (Revolution Square) in demand of bread.

It is this same “critical left” in Havana that dedicated itself to dressing up Biden, the head of the counterrevolutionary pirates of Wall Street, as “democratic” and “progressive”, in a petition for him to “lift the blockade on Cuba.”

Today, these people have begun to raise the demand for the Cuban CP to legalize unemployed organizations like the ones that carried out the Federal March in Argentina. The Cuban “left” has already learned very well in its single party of Stalinists and renegades of Trotskyism how to control the hungry and desperate masses so that they do not overwhelm all the institutions of power with their spontaneous struggle, as happened in Cuba on 11J.
After decades of silence, they suddenly call for a union for the unemployed in Cuba. They are trying to convince Díaz Canel and the counterrevolutionary government officials to authorize it!

It is clear: while the Stalinist judges are sentencing those detained for the 11J uprising to decades in prison to punish the hungry masses, the Cuban “left” calls for the creation instead of institutions that discipline them so that they do not rise up and if they do, it would be under the control of the state and the counterrevolutionary government of Diaz Canel and the new Cuban rich, who for a long time have been associated in hundreds of businesses with imperialism.
Ultimately, they are calling for a parody of unions. Because their policy is to set up fully statized unions to constrain the movement of the hungry and unemployed in Cuba. Of unions totally independent of the state, null. Much less, for the legalization of revolutionary workers' parties that fight to overthrow that government of hunger and surrender to capitalism.

Like the World Social Forum yesterday, today the "New Left" of Stalinists and renegades of Trotskyism is in charge of saving governments and regimes in crisis

Any thoughtful observer and follower of the international socialist left movement will be able to see in these events the true outlines of the so-called "New Left": a coordinated and centralized mix-up of Stalinists, "anti-capitalists", ex-Trotskyists... A single party that has brought to the mud the flags of the Fourth International and has been tested together with Macron, the Gringos, Putin and al-Assad in the so-called "anti-terrorist front" in Syria to contain the revolutions in the Middle East. They tried to support in the US, Sanders and Biden, the current commander in chief of the counterrevolutionary forces of NATO, as we will get not tired of denouncing; and they are supporting, as we have already said, the entire pro-imperialist and gringo left in Latin America, too.

In Africa they are openly supporting the ANC government in South Africa, as does the ISO, those "socialists" of the queen, who have long been the fundamental supporter of Corbyn's Labor Party of English imperialism.
We have already seen that their actions in Ukraine were not improvised, and although they scream against the war, they find themselves supporting either NATO or the butcher Putin.

In imperialist Europe, the forces of the “anti-capitalists” of the NPA and the Solidaires union in France have been consistently at the service of sustaining the policy of the Communist Party in the counterrevolutionary leadership of the CGT. In Greece, Stalinists and renegades of Trotskyism together strangled the labor movement by supporting Syriza, supporting its plebiscites and making an agreement with its then finance minister, Varoufakis, to call on the workers of Europe to “democratize” imperialist Maastricht… With the current events in the Ukraine, imperialism demonstrates how it is "democratizing" the Maastricht that those social-imperialist scoundrels’ support: with wars, massacres and attacks on all the conquests of the European working class.

It is not the crisis of the working class and its inability to fight against the rottenness of this capitalist system, which prevails in the world situation. The crisis and weakness of the combat of the masses are given by the treacherous actions of the leaderships they have at their head.
After the wave of the "Bolivarian revolution" scam and the World Social Forum with its lies that "another world is possible", and the defense of "market socialism" and "21st century socialism"; after these leaderships had lead dozens of revolutionary processes to a dead end in the first 15 years of this 21st century, to end up later on being used as "squeezed lemons", the 1% of imperialist parasites have set up this "New Left".
While organizing wars and consolidating its regimes and governments to deal with the masses, imperialism, with an accurate class instinct has summoned former Trotskyists to make deals of "peaceful coexistence" with the Stalinists, as was the case in Yalta. This happens in all countries and at the international level to contain the socialist revolution, divert the revolutionary processes and submit them to the class collaboration fronts with the bourgeoisie.

The task of the moment: to recover the flags of the Fourth International and regroup revolutionary cadres to go out and meet the new and future struggles of the world working class.

Very cunningly, Big capital gave survival and protected Stalinism so that it can play its counterrevolutionary role at the head of the unions and mass organizations throughout the world, while it has culminated its consolidation as the new ruling class in the former workers' states, allied to all the imperialist powers, from Vietnam to Cuba, from China to Korea, and from the former USSR to the European East.
But this would not have worked without the legitimacy that the parties that claimed for decades the Fourth International gave the Stalinists from the left, the only place from where you could speak to the working class with clean flags and looking the exploited eye to eye.
After decades of opportunism and adaptations, the revolutionary movement broke down and, as we see it today, ended up betraying the entire programmatic, theoretical and organizational legacy of the Fourth International, to deploy an open policy of class collaboration.

That is what the battle in which we are engaged in today is about: giving continuity to that program and theory of the Fourth International, which have proven to pass the test of history, while those who once supported it openly betrayed, as they continue doing now.
A new base of careerists and opportunists entered the ex-Trotskyist parties, imbued with a fierce revisionism of Marxism in  their leaderships, so that they continue the old work and the policy of Stalinism that led to the cruelest defeats of the world proletariat.
Cadres, militants or currents like the FLTI, now sailing again against the current, but firmly supported by the most advanced combats of the working class, which has not given up, we seek at the international level to recover those flags from the mud of opprobrium and betrayal to re-found the Fourth International expurgated from traitors and lackeys of Stalinism who handed it over a long time ago

In this catastrophe of the capitalist system, which does not find another way out to recover its profits other than piracy, parasitism, looting and war, we revolutionary Marxists know how to move in our environment and habitat, which is to march to prepare and organize new revolutionary parties under the banners of the Fourth International and for the socialist revolution. Our call is to prepare the class civil war against the war that the capitalists declared to the international proletariat.

We Marxists know what it is about. Here and there reformism proclaims that the working class and the exploited can improve their current living conditions without a victorious socialist revolution at the international level and without crushing the bourgeois parasites and their regimes. The opportunist practice of the "New Left" is based on this thoroughly reformist thesis. That is why they clash themselves more and more with the masses, because their apothegm is not possible.
Without revolutionary struggles of the armed masses, without putting their foot on the chest of the bourgeoisie, without forcing it to surrender, without concentrated international combats of the world working class, the working class and the exploited will not be able to even partially improve their conditions of existence. As the Marxist strategy proposes, without fighting for everything and this with revolutionary methods, it is already impossible for the proletariat to achieve the slightest of its conquests. And if it gets them and doesn't take power, it will lose them. This is the apothegm of revolutionary Marxism today.

Our strengths lie in the fact that if the working class does not want to die, it must try again and find the way to once more conquer a period of victorious revolutions.
So are we doing, the members of the FLTI and its revolutionary groups. We have to try again. It is not the time to sound the trumpets of withdrawal from the revolutionary movement, but rather the time to prepare new offensives to refound the Fourth International and regroup the best cadres that the working class is detaching in the front lines of each combat at international level.

They, the traitors of the Fourth International, are no more capable. They are the expression of decades of capitulations to the class enemy and betrayals to the legacy of our world party. They are supported by states, regimes and governments. A while ago they stopped relying on the best of the revolutionary struggles of the proletariat. They now openly act to hand them over and betray them.

We revolutionaries, the same as the vanguard of the working class and the advanced workers have done, have selected our cadres. We are not starting from scrap. In two decades of existence, some of our people have deserted from combat. They were trade unionist right-wings which were against our internationalist praxis. Others have already broken away from Trotskyism openly and have even left the ranks of the working class. It could not be otherwise: that is what Bolshevism is about, selecting ‘la crème de la crème’ of the proletariat.
None of these individuals have put up any Marxist battle.
They are obfuscated with the revolutionary movement because it has not given them victories. They hoped that these would fall from the sky and happen in a simple way in moments of brutal crisis of the Fourth International. As Trotsky said, these currents of disgruntled and vengeful elements must be left to their fate. They are of no use to the working class and its decisive struggles.
It's about gains and losses, as Lenin put it. Losing a small reformist, right-wing and nationalist ballast and beginning to dialogue and conquer a new audience of workers and youth vanguard at the international level, speaks of gains and not losses in the construction of the Trotskyist movement. The program and its tasks select the revolutionaries and diligently search for the flesh that fights daily for them.

Every revolutionary current must dedicate all its attention to the new layer of perceptive workers and youth that emerge from the most advanced combats of the mass movement, who begin to see and distinguish that those who spoke in the name of Trotskyism are vulgar reformists; nothing different from those who had betrayed them in previous fights.
These insightful youth and workers are bringing the Trotskyists back to the heart of the revolutionary hotbeds, to their most active battalions.
Arrogant petty bourgeois from the regimes' leftist apparatuses have long since given up Trotskyism for dead. But before this happens, their chiefs of the general staff of the bourgeoisie will get rid of reformism after using their services. They are an anomaly in history, while revolutionary Marxism is the future of the working class. Once again it is time for 10 intelligent men who, as Lenin would say, are worth more than 10,000 idiots.

The working class needs to know who are its allies and who are its enemies; how the leaderships that have led it to the impasse of class collaboration act while the bourgeoisie prepares the counterrevolution and fascism to crush the masses.

The Fourth International is not dead. It lives in this sharpening of the conditions of crisis, wars and revolutions. It is now about living in new revolutionary combat organizations. The time has come to put this task into action again. All our forces as a Trotskyist nucleus for the international socialist revolution are committed to it.
