Decisive battalions of the Middle East working class
enter the fight: the oil workers
Only two days ago, the contracted workers of Bushehr petrochemical came out to fight claiming workers couldn’t keep silent and without doing anything in the face of the crackdown and killing of protestors, and that the were going to be with the people fighting against a murderous theocracy, which live as kings while the people live as beggars.
The strike has expanded also to the cities of Abadan, Mashahr, Hengama island, Khark island, Asalouye, Sarbandar, Bnadar Abbas, nearby in the Persian Gulf, where the largest oil reserves of oil and gas are. Of that area, Iran alone has one fourth of the oil reserves and has the second gas reserve in the world. Decisive battalions of the Iranian ane Middle Eastern working class entered the struggle.
Lies and infamies of the reformist left in the world are exposed. They claimed “there is no working class in Middle East” and their slanders on the great oil working class saying they are “barbaric tribes” and “backward”. There are millions of Iranian and Iraqi workers, and the ones that work in the oil wells of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, namely the Yemeni workers. In Qatar, a country where only 20% of its population is Qatari national (580,000) there are around 2 million Yemeni workers that built the hotels, industrial plants, gas liquifiers, oil and gas platforms, and they extract the hydrocarbon wealth.
It has entered the fight a key sector of the world working class, the one extracts the source of energy that moves the world!
The flames of the revolution do not stop in these almost 30 days of fighting in the streets, in more than 177 cities in 31 provinces in Iran. The killing of Mahsa Amini by the hand of the repressive forces of the ayatollah for not wearing the hijab was the spark that lit the flame of Iran today on fire. All the sectors have entered the fight: students, women removing the hijabs, the militant youth, the peasants, the workers and now especially the oil workers, which strike to the heart of the production of Iran and has even shaken the hydrocarbon world market. It is a great revolutionary uprising of the working class and the exploited for bread, freedom, against the brutal crackdown, to get out of misery to where the Ayatollahs subject them!
The students, in the demonstrations and barricades against the repressive forces in each university of the country, cry: “Our oil worker, our resolute leader”, “students, workers: Unity and strike!”
With each new sector entering the fight, the confident in the masses increase, the actions get reinforced and turn each time bolder. Structures begin to rise, i.e. committees organizing the fighting, the barricades, the local strikes. If they advance, develop, coordinate and expand from the neighbourhood to the city, from the city to the region and national level, following the path of the shorah of the 1980s revolution, that is to say, the councils of workers, peasants and rank and file soldiers, the way to deal decisive blows to the oppressors would be opened until there’s nothing left of this infamous regime. These organs must be armed to defend themselves from the brutal crackdown. Dissolve the murderous police and the Basij! Disarm the Iranian Guard! For these murderers to get out of Iraq and Syria! For rank and file soldiers that disobey their officers and move onto the side of the people!
To conquer bread, freedom and decent living!... Let the regime of the Ayatollah fall! For a revolutionary workers and peasants government, which would be the only one that can guarantee all the demands! For the right of self-determination of all the subjugated nationalities! Long live the revolutionary uprising of the working class and the exploited of Iran! Long live the workers students unity! Let the hijabs fall and also the infamous theocratic regime of the exploiters and the executioners of the people!
