Santa Cruz:

At the San Julián roadblock, brutal repression by the murderous police and military, along with the Santa Cruz Youth Union, attempts to clear the Santa Cruz-Beni highway

On Saturday morning, a contingent of 200 police officers and 150 soldiers, with the support of the Unión Juvenil Cruceñista (a paramilitary group armed by the repressive forces), attempted to clear the highway, unleashing a brutal crackdown. They murdered a young man, identified as José Luis García, at point-blank range with a bullet to the head, as he resisted the fascist attacks. The organized population, along with exploited youth, self-organized in resistance and pushed back the paramilitary groups armed by the police and the Banzer regime's armed forces.

Disband the police, the Banzerist officer caste, and all the repressive forces of the state!

We must march to the barracks and call on the rank and file to arrest all the fascist and Banzerist officers who order the killing of the people, to establish their committees, and to send their delegates to a National Coordinating Committee for Struggle! The miners must make dynamite available to confront the murderous government that seeks to give carte blanche to the police and the Banzerist officer caste to kill… Open the roadto the workers' and peasants' militia like that of the COB in 1952 with its committees of rank-and-file soldiers!
