Bolivia - June 13, 2026

The rank and file of workers and peasants, supported by grassroots assemblies and unified town hall meetings, denounce the new betrayal being attempted by the collaborationist leadership of the COB (Bolivian Workers' Center) and the peasant unions by negotiating with the traitorous government of Paz

Statement from the internationalist Trotskyist forces of Latin America:

The CSUTCB peasant organization speaks out against the traitorous leaders negotiating with the murderous government of Rodrigo Paz

Blood spilled is not negotiable! Bolivia is not for sale!
The workers' and peasants' struggle is not to be betrayed! Unrestricted Freedom for those imprisoned for fighting!

Below, we reproduce the statement from the Confederación Sindical Única de Trabajadores Campesinos de Bolivia (CSUTCB  - Unified Confederation of Peasant Workers of Bolivia ), along with indigenous organizations, communities, agrarian unions, and mobilized grassroots members, denouncing before the Bolivian people and the international community the betrayal by various organizations co-opted by the pro-US  Rodrigo Paz government. This is how they denounce it: “With deep indignation we denounce the new betrayal perpetrated by the bureaucratic and patronage-based leadership of the COB, Fabriles (factory workers union, NT), the Federación Sindical de Trabajadores Mineros (Federation of Mining Workers), the leaders of the Túpac Katari Federation and other structures co-opted by the government, who once again have negotiated behind the backs of the rank and file, surrendering the popular struggle for personal interests, positions, privileges and political favors.”

From the Liga Socialista de los Trabajadores Internacionalistas(Internationalist Socialist Workers League) - LSTI of Bolivia, affiliated with the FLTI, Democracia Obrera (Workers' Democracy) Bolivia, we endorse this statement, because if we do not expel the leaders who negotiate behind the backs of the rank and file, we will not be able to overthrow the exploitative, sellout, and pro-US government of Rodrigo Paz. Therefore, we propose that this courageous declaration be adopted and voted on by all workers' and peasants' organizations in Bolivia, as well as in Latin America and internationally, wich see that their liberation lies in the triumph of the Bolivian revolution today. We also propose that it be adopted and promoted by left-wing organizations across the American continent that claims to be anti-imperialist.

Forward to the unified and anti-imperialist struggle of Latin America! Forward to the unity of the working class and the rebellious youth of the United States; they are our best allies fighting against the fascist Trump and his ICE police force, which deports, persecutes, and imprisons our Latin American brothers and sisters in the US!

Latin America is not for sale! One single anti-imperialist struggle, from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego!

STATEMENT OF THE REVOLUTIONARY AND REBELLIOUS CSUTCB

The Confederación Sindical Única de Trabajadores campesinos de Bolivia (Unified Confederation of Peasant Workers of Bolivia), the indigenous peasant organizations, the communities, central and sub-central unions, agrarian unions, youth, and mobilized grassroots from the countryside and the city, before the Bolivian people and the international community, declare the following:

With profound indignation, we denounce the new betrayal perpetrated by the bureaucratic and patronage-based leadership of the COB (Bolivian Workers' Center), the Factory Workers' Union, the Federation of Mining Workers, the leaders of the Túpac Katari Federation, and other structures co-opted by the government, who have once again negotiated behind the backs of the rank and file, surrendering the popular struggle for personal interests, positions, privileges, and political favors.

History repeats itself. Those who in the past trampled on the historic worker-peasant alliance are once again turning their backs on the people, abandoning the streets and the legitimate demands of the vast majority to kneel before the powers that be. Their conduct constitutes a shameful betrayal of the memory of our martyrs, the struggles of the indigenous peasant movement, and the workers of Bolivia.

Faced with this reality, the Revolutionary and Rebellious CSUTCB reaffirms its firm stance of struggle, resistance, and social combat, obeying only the mandate of the rank and file, the communities, the Indigenous and peasant peoples, and the humble sectors who suffer daily the consequences of the economic crisis, hunger, political persecution, and state repression.

We reiterate that our organization does not sell out, does not negotiate the interests of the people, and does not yield to government pressure. Our loyalty belongs solely to the vast national majorities and the sovereign will of the mobilized rank and file.
We categorically reject all those Arcist false leaders who usurp the representation of our organizations, use our names and symbols for personal gain, and lend themselves to the government's political games in exchange for perks, positions, and privileges. They do not represent the voice of the communities nor the will of the organized people. Likewise, these leaders have decided to bow their heads before a government that has lost all moral and political legitimacy before the Bolivian people, becoming accomplices in the crisis, the division of social organizations, and the violation of the rights of our people.

The Revolutionary and Rebelious CSUTCB declares that it will remain mobilized and on high alert until the decisions made by the grassroots and the organized popular majorities are fulfilled (the resignation of the narco-terrorist government of Rodrigo Paz).
WE CALL: to all social organizations, unions, communities, youth, women, workers, trade unions, transport workers, students, and patriots committed to the defense of Bolivia and its natural resources to strengthen revolutionary unity in order to recover dignity and popular sovereignty.

La Paz, June 13, 2026

JALLALLA (Long live, NT) THE INDIGENOUS PEASANT MOVEMENT! JALLALLA THE UNITY OF THE BOLIVIAN PEOPLE! HONOR AND GLORY TO THOSE WHO FIGHT AND DO NOT SELL OUT!
