Huge revolutionary mass uprising in Indonesia

The exploited have assaulted the citadel of power
and the capitalist regime

In recent days, protests erupted across Indonesia over the lavish salaries of parliamentarians, austerity measures, the rising cost of living, and corruption. Authorities deployed thousands of police officers, used tear gas and water cannons, and blocked streets near the parliament complex.

Workers demanded higher wages, an end to labor outsourcing, higher tax-free thresholds, new labor laws, and stronger anti-corruption measures, and warned of possible nationwide strikes. Protesters also voiced their opposition to the military's growing role in civil affairs.

Protests erupted again today following the death of Affan Kurniawan, who was run over by police officers in a Brimob tactical vehicle during a labor demonstration in front of the Indonesian Parliament (DPR).

The anger of the masses against was burning government offices in Yarkata, Indonesia, in response to the government attack and the murder of a young protester.
