Argentina - April 8, 2025
In light of the April 9th mobilization and the April 10th strike by the CGT and CTA central unions…
The CGT, which was forced to call a strike after the March 12 mobilization that took to the streets beyond its control and against the government, breaking Bullrich's protocol, is seeking to impose a token strike... We mustn’t allow this!
LET'S TAKE THE STRIKE INTO OUR HANDS!
In every factory and establishment, assemblies must be held to guarantee a strike against the scab bureaucrats, who under the leadership of the PJ seek to weaken our forces. They are just now calling to mobilize alongside the retirees, after the latter were left by their own all along in the face of government repression for more than a year.
The UTA (Public Transport Union) is in compulsory conciliation (so they allege they “cannot strike”); if this persists, millions of informal and underpaid workers will be prevented from being able to strike. We must defy this rotten bureaucracy! Bring all transportation to a standstill! We must deepen the path opened on March 12 against the government and those who empower it!
OUT WITH MILEI, THE GOVERNMENT
OF BIG BUSINESS AND THE IMF!
supported by the PRO and the UCR parties,
and the PJ party with its union bureaucracy
The government and the capitalists are redoubling their offensive against the masses… Under the guise of the crisis, the auto, metal, tire, oil, textile and sugar mill bosses are closing plants, laying off workers, or furloughing them. They are imposing collective bargaining agreements with monthly wages below inflation and canceling contracts. They are making us more “flexible” and leading us to a life of hunger and misery while they hand over the whole nation to imperialism…
Enough with the blackmail and plunder!
The capitalists are raking in huge amounts of money
Down with trade secret! For workers' control of production!
LET THE CAPITALISTS PAY FOR THE CRISIS!
By means of the trade secrecy, the bosses conceal from the people the billions they're making off with the super-exploitation of the working class and the plundering of the nation. To stop the capitalists' blackmail with its alleged "crisis"... We must immediately open the accounting books and impose workers' control of production. Workers, with balance sheets in hand, can demonstrate that there are more than enough resources to reinstate all those laid off, achieve a living mobile minimum monthly wage of Ar$1,800,000 (around u$d 1,500) for all, and a reduction in the hours per workday without pay cuts so the unemployed can enter production as permanent labor under collective bargaining agreements. We must also guarantee the 82% (of actives’ wage) mobile rate for retirees’ pension.
To achieve these basic demands that underlie the existence of the working class, which is the class that produces the nation's wealth, we must establish factory committees without distinction between permanent and temporary workers, along with the laid-off and unemployed. We cannot leave these demands, nor the fight against the IMF and the imperialism that plunders the nation, in the hands of the union bureaucracy or the PJ frauds who have been granting Milei governability. We must break with all the bosses' parties!
Amid the government's attack, they want to divert any struggle into the electoral trap that has already begun in Santa Fe, Jujuy, Salta, and Buenos Aires City. The charlatans from the PRO, the UCR, and the PJ want to portray themselves as a political alternative to Milei, having voted for his “superpowers”, his anti-worker laws, and a "blank check" to seal a new IMF surrender agreement while he and his party are a parliamentary minority. They all supported him because they are servants of the big bosses of AEA (Big Business chamber), the transnational corporations, and the US embassy. The bosses' politicians want to portray themselves before the people as opposition, when they support a police-led and autocratic regime that violently represses workers who come out to fight. All of them, along with Milei, support one of the greatest genocidaires and fascists in history: Zionism, massacring in Gaza.
Tire workers, oil workers, the left-wing Acindar Internal Commission, and state and healthcare workers facing layoffs have the authority to call for a…
NATIONAL FIGHT COMMITTEE NOW!
There's no time to waste. We must take to the streets this April 9th and call for a strike that same day, together with the retirees. Let the April 10th strike, with assemblies and roadblocks, be the first step toward coordinating the struggles and demands without traitorous bureaucrats.
Unfortunately, the FIT-U does not propose this perspective to unite the workers' ranks, but only demands that the union bureaucracy be the one to give "continuity" to the strike. Thus, it hands over the leadership of the strike and the labor movement to the hands of the same ones that give us in to the bosses and support the puppet Milei government.
We must resume the path of struggle opened on last March 12th!
We must pave the way for a revolutionary general strike until the fall of Milei, the charlatan and traitor….
Down with the Milei-Bullrich police regime! Disband the repressive forces and the caste of judges who persecute those who fight! Drop the charges against all fighters! For united security and self-defense committees of worker organizations to protect us from repression!
Those at the top are deepening the war against those at the bottom... Let's go after them all!
Down with the IMF and imperialism!
No debt repayment!
The banks and monopolies that plunder the nation must be expropriated without compensation and under workers' control! Expropriation without compensation of the lands of the oligarchy and supermarket chains so that the people can eat! For a Revolutionary Workers' and Popular Government!
Let's get back on the path of the Cordobazo!
Let's move on to the Argentinazo!
“Let them all go,
not even one should remain”
